I Have come across some people referring to the abbreviation AM. I think it is a Cuban custom roll. Can anyone help me out with what that stands for? Thanks.

Alfredo Martinez custom. Excellent cigars. Love the robustos!

not all, but in some of the VR's I've smoked I tasted honey. Never in any other cigar brand.

I often get strong hints of graham cracker sweetness in certain cigars that could also be described as honey. Can't say I have found it in VRs but ERdM Choix, QDO and esp in LGC Medaille D'O series.

Just had a Punch Punch '14 - no sweetness but a nice smoke with a hint of citrus tartness

2153 - Oct 13 Part 898 last night. I wouldn't call it boring, necessarily, but it definitely needed a LOT more time in the humi...surprisingly one dimensional...the bit of edge on it overwhelmed the subtler aspects of 898 that Ive come to expect

The sweetest cigar I've smoke by far is the 07 Por Larrañaga Robosto de Larrañaga Asia Pacific RE. Ooooozes with honey. One of my all time favorites. Like smoking candy. Amazing cigar. Picked up a fiver from a BOTL on another board and bought 2 more boxes. Only 2 cigars remaind'oh!

Unfortunately they are all but gone. Occasionally someone puts the up for sale, but the asking price is absurd (2-3X). Think I paid $340 per box 3-4 years ago when they were really hitting their stride. Had a difficult time justifying the original price point (but I did anyway..) but not willing to spend the current pricing on any cigar..

I don't necessarily prefer them over the D4. Similar profile, but different enough to keep my interest. I have many more D4's than 5's. Both age (4-5 yrs) very well.

$160 is the magic number, I forgot you had quit buying and were keeping less on hand. Well these will hold you over for a bit then.

Mild but very flavorful. Creamy with a light touch of sweetness. Great morning cigar with a cup of coffee......or any time for that matter. Quite consistent as well.
