They’re mad as hell and they’re not going to take it anymore.

So they’re marching.

On Saturday, backers of President Trump are planning marches across the country in a show of unity and support for his agenda. In several places, anti-Trump groups are vowing to try to undermine the rallies.

Pro-Trump groups say they are tired of all the attacks on a president who has been in office barely three months.

"Why are we here is because we have a president that has been in office, by the time of the march, what ... 65 days?” asked former Rep. Doreen Costa, a Rhode Island Republican, in a rhetorical question to the Providence Journal.

“All this resistance: 'He's not my president,'" she continued. "News flash: He is. He is everybody's president. I did not vote for Barack Obama, but he was still my president. And you can only resist so much and it's not going to change the outcome of the election.”

The marches, dubbed “Make America Great Again,” or "MAGA,” have met with opposition in some areas, with anti-Trump groups planning to counter-demonstrate.

In Seaside Heights, N.J., Mayor Anthony Vaz, a Trump supporter, said he is determined to have the march in his town despite initial concerns that he and other officials had about potential clashes between pro- and anti-Trump demonstrators.

"It's no secret to anyone that there is a divide in our country right now. ... And when there's a 'pro' (event) there is often a lot of negatives that come with it," Vaz told NJ Advance Media.

“MAGA” organizers in Orange County, Calif., say they expect some 3,000 people at their march. Organizer Jennifer Sterling told the Orange County Register that many of them are expected to women, children and senior citizens.

Sterling said it is to show support for Trump, but also to celebrate patriotism and those in military service.

Anti-Trump groups plan to demonstrate there, too. They say they want to undermine the pro-Trump march.

“We aren’t going to start fights, but we are going to try to stop them from completing their march,” said Byron Lopez, an organizer, who added that he expects about 100 people.

The lefty-libs in this country are very anti-free speech (other than lefty-lib) ... they are doing everything they can to deter, disrupt or stop it ... in too many instances, the police are not taking appropriate action because the cities they 'serve' won't take any action that isn't 'politically correct'

Much of this is attributable to the divider in chief who spent the last 8 years doing everything he possibly could to create this sort of condition in this country ...

Nope ... blaming Obama for problems he caused ... has nothing to do with Trump (who got elected only because of backlash against the excesses of Obama and the lack of a decent Demo candidate) ...

If they are anything like the last Trump demonstrations, they will be hard to find. Are they mad about something or are they complaining and tired of all the winning ?

"Everywhere I hear the sound of marching, charging feet, boy
'Cause summer's here and the time is right for fighting in the street, boy
Well what can a poor boy do
Except to sing for a rock 'n' roll band
'Cause in sleepy London town
There's just no place for a street fighting man
No
Hey! Think the time is right for a palace revolution
'Cause where I live the game to play is compromise solution
Well, then what can a poor boy do
Except to sing for a rock 'n' roll band
'Cause in sleepy London town
There's just no place for a street fighting man
No
Hey! Said my name is called disturbance
I'll shout and scream, I'll kill the king, I'll rail at all his servants
Well, what can a poor boy do
Except to sing for a rock 'n' roll band
'Cause in sleepy London town
There's just no place for a street fighting man
No". ram27bat

They have the right to march/ralley. The extreme left agenda of silencing the right is hypocritical.

Even on a Saturday the Trump supporters were busy at work. It's expensive supporting those democrats you know.

I saw the Boston march on the news.

It was going fine.
American Flags (not lit on fire).
Shouts about American Pride.
Support for the elected POTUS.
Nothing negative.
Then a group of Anti-Trump protesters interfered.

No big deal. Right?

How about this: The anti-Trump protesters wore face masks.

Now why would anyone hide their face when opposing an unpopular republican in Massachusetts?
Maybe now it will be more difficult to "follow the money" disseminated by the democrats to pay for the protesters.

Those on the right conveniently forget the "Take Back America" anti-Obama protests that happened immediately after he was inaugurated, complete with nooses, effigies, monkeys, pix of Obama with a rifle scope cross-hairs photo super-imposed ...and the paid Tea Party movement that sprang up during the summer of his first year...two rich white guys (Kochs) paid a bunch of political organizers to marshal old unemployed white people to do those protests and all of a sudden a whole bunch of mostly white people voluntarily joined in and a movement was born...proving that you don't have to pay protesters if they are motivated against the man in the White House...

...very few pro-Obama supporters attended the Tea Party rallies, let alone caused violent controntations, that I recall...those on the left were too lazy or too satisfied hanging out all day at the park or the beach drinking free beer to defend and support their man in the White House...

...the numbers of supporters attending the pro-Trump rallies were much lower than for anti-Trump rallies earlier this year: estimates show a "few hundred" up to "2,000" in some of the more than 50 places they were held in the US....prolly because Obama ruined the US economy so bad those on the right have to work two or three jobs, including working on Saturday, otherwise those numbers would've been in the millions...that's what I heard...

Sorry delta, there is no linkage between Obama and Trump here. Starting fights to break up peaceful rallies is wrong. It doesn't matter if you agree with the rally or not.

This is why there can be no discussion.

I give respect to the persons who oppose Trump by assuming they are reasonable people doing irrational things.
Your comparisons point to right wing lunatics carrying nooses and insinuate that it somehow represents anyone who didn't vote for Obama.

And now you cite rally and protest attendance figures as if that matters. No wonder Trump won, when the left can't even understand HOW an election is won.

The point of my post was to counter those on the right who insisted that there were no protests of Obama's election, and now tail has clarified that insistence with an acknowledgement that there were protests of Obama, but only by the "right wing lunatics." OK, so we have found some common ground, no?

...and I only cited the small numbers of those attending the pro-Trump rallies because numbers matter to the President, who made it a point to boast about the number of people who attended his inauguration and the margin of victory in the electoral college...

... then I used a comment by the right (those loafers don't have to work like the rest of us) about the large numbers, by comparison, of those who attend anti-Trump rallies to explain the low number of supporters yesterday... an attempt at political humor that I thought was funny...I guess laughing at is easier than being laughed at...

In answer to Spey, and the people on the right who are outraged by the violent anti-Trump supporters who appeared at pro-Trump rallies, I do not condone violent confrontation by anyone, especially when that person is exercising the right to free speech in the political arena.
