Do we think this makes them worth holding onto?

Their cigars are ok. Just a shame to see the name go I think.

I smoked their cigarettes for a while back when I was smoking cigs.

They were better than Marlboro.

I liked the Nat Sherman cigs better though, so that's what I smoked before I quit.

Never had one of their cigars though.

I was fortunate enough to smoke a Cuban Dunhill, thanks to a very generous brother on this here forum. Best cigar I have ever had in my life. Same brother gifted me a Cuban Davidoff... in my top 5, for sure.

Second on my list of best ever is a freshly rolled Rodolfo Taboada. I was at the LCdH in Tijuana in 2006 and the man himself asked me what I wanted to smoke, and he would roll it for me. I told him to roll me whatever he rolls for himself.

Well... technically he asked xibbumbero. I don't speak Spanish and Don Rodolfo didn't speak English (may he rest in peace).

I have heard such things in the past about Dunhill's pipe tobacco. So I am not sure if said information is correct. I guess we will wait and see. If so then what a shame as I am a big fan of a number of Dunhill's English and Oriental blends like Early Morning Pipe, 965, Nightcap etc. ;not to mention their rich history of pipe making.

From what I hear the pipes and all that will stay just no tobacco. I don't think it's a sales stunt I may be wrong but if that say that then come out later and say they are going to keep making it most people would have stocked up and won't buy more.
