If there are options in terms of spiciness/kick, then some regular and some spicy would be awesome.

I was gonna post that I would trade sexual favors for some great boudin, but I didn't want Lyn mad at me. ram27bat

Grumpie would forgive me since she loves it too.

Will be bringing some of the new Mombacho cigars with me to pass out ( hope 16 is enough as it's what I have left )
and some fresh pears from our tree, we don't spray so they're " not perfect " in shape per say but tasty nonetheless

Sure Jules why not....if nothing else I'll end up with a nice collection and reminder of MANY of the Great cigars that used to be available to us before the F"U"DA took over to run roughshod over the industry. :(

12 DAYS....Applause

Should we bring backyard chicken eggs for breakfast? If so how many dozen do you think?

Did I say there's only 12 days of waiting left?

Ooooooh, eggses! Fresh eggses! Yes, but not sure how many. Tuck hasn't given the final head count from Cinci yet. We have 4-5 local peeps coming also.

It might be just me... Lyn has been going back and forth to Houston with her cousin and that might interfere. I'm trying to talk Big Bear into coming with me, but it's short notice....

I thinking I might leave on Thursday and get there Friday afternoon... Still in the planning, but it's looking more and more like it will happen....

Looks like Lyn's schedule has changed and she will be coming up with me.... schedule remains the same, although Lyn can make me late every now and then.... lol

I was asking about the route there. I wanted to send a few things with you.

Would love to see you on the way home. I don't even know what day you will be passing through.

Let me know and we can hook up.

The quickest way up is through Jackson and Memphis according to the GPS, but going up we are going to go through Nashville and do a day trip on Thursday and then come back home via the quick route and hang around Memphis for a day on Sunday night / Monday morning... should be going through Jackson Monday afternoon...

That being said, we'll be going up 59 on Wednesday. I could let you know when we plan on going through Hattiesburg or Meridian if you want to try and intercept us...

I will be out of town Wednesday.

Give me a buzz on the way back home.

FYI.....Memphis is only 3 hours north of Jackson.

Will do.... and I know it's close, that's why I told you we were going to stop there... didn't know if you and Tawni wanted to come up for dinner or something like that.... We aren't dragging a vehicle, so we stop close to stuff we want to see... No matter what, I'll let you know what the plans are for Memphis and for when we go through Jackson...

Lyn wants to meet up cause she always hears about ya'll....

Just a thought.....

If you can make it to Jackson Sunday evening, I'd love to cook for y'all. Or I would do the same Monday night.
I don't have a spare room, but if your staying in the RV you can park it close. Tawni will be off work Monday so she can shuttle y'all around.

I guess what I'm saying.....
I'd love to have y'all any time y'all can be here.

Just text/call me and we can talk.

Had a great time. How in the heck do we always end up with more cigars than when we started?

I'm totally exhausted from lumberjacking today, but wanted to thank everyone who came. All the food, bevies and smokes were amazing. Gonna take us a long while to get through all the alcohol leftovers. Oh wow, the bourbon lineup alone was totally killer. And then blu's concoctions. And everything elseā€¦

Herfing

So thank you all, can't wait to see you again!

Yes, definitely another awesome time. Great cigars, booze and friends. Thanks again to the host Jules & Grumppie. for getting everything ready. The food was awesome as I know Blue did some cooking too. Thanks to him too. Look forward to the next herf and hopefully we can get one in the spring. If you haven't been to one, you need to make plans to come. A great time you WILL have.

Nice to meet Jen and Sara, both awesome ladies and hope they both make it back.

till next time, Happy Smoking all.

Lyn and I had a great time at Moose Manor. Got to meet some of the family and new friends and see some old friends that we haven't seen in a while... Everybody helped this old cripple set up and break down. I did take the parking spot from Tex, but now he knows to get there earlier....
Great meeting the family from up there especially another Marine.
Thanks for all the help Jen and nice to meet you and Sarah. Don't let the initiation ruin ya Jen...

Lyn and I will be back for sure.....

Take care until we see you again, Blu

As an update, since I'm drinking and on the computer......

On the way back to Louisiana we stopped for the night in Memphis and hit Beale street and had a great time... This allowed us to pass through Jackson, MS right around lunch time and we had a great time with MattieB and Tawni.... They were great hosts, taking us to a little out of the way place to grab some lunch and even taking MsBlu shopping....

Oh man, I do miss me some Boudin from Louisiana. One of the sad side affects of being forced to leave LA. Nothing paired better than some hot Boudin balls with a great stogie while at a backyard bbq or crawfish boil hmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm
