Living in the North East can be hard on humidors. I know this first hand from letting some smokes get too dry and they never recovered.. My humidor through the summer has been perfect, 63 top shelf and about 66-65 on bottom.. I have my concerns as winter is coming. And don't want to screw things up. Used tuppedors when first started to smoke and then bought a humidor,(not expensive)the tuppedor always worked awesomely and am now considering going back to it... Just wondering what you guys think about this or am I just over thinking this..

You catch on quick...........I kind of like that in a noob.

How do you feel about a bathtub full of lime jello and a gallon of whipped cream?

where do you live? I'm south of Boston, and if you live close enough, I will come by and take all your smokes and send them to Whistlebritches. You don't really want to come out swinging.

Seriously, don't overthink it. I've had success for years with good quality, double lock one and two gallon freezer bags and boveda 65's year round. If boxes, I'd toss a boveda in the box as well, if a lot of singles, maybe more than one boveda in the ziplock. If you have humidors, I have no idea if yours seal well.

Toss them baggies in a spare dresser in a spare bedroom.

tupperdors maintain rock solid humidity

i still maintain one classic humidor but I'm a believer in ziplock weathertight tupperware and a single boveda

Tupper it. I would put some cedar in there if you had any.

Never liked tuppers.....
Prefer coolers.......better insulation.........better protection.

I did make a "bucketidor" a few years back........best free humi ever (lid had the rubber seal)

If using airtight storage, make sure you're using 2 way humidification product.

I keep mine in Pelican cases. Use Heartfelt beads and Bovedas. Rarely need to recharge, think I've done it once this year.

If the tuppedor worked before there is no reason to believe that it won't work well again. I say go for it. If you are really concerned about it just check on them more frequently. The KISS principle applies here. fog

I've found that boxed cigars in a tupperdor rarely need any humidification and require much less beads than a humidor.

I don’t recall Frankie ever specifically saying sock drawer but also don’t think it really matters.
