My local ShopRite has a decent cigar assortment at much better then B&M prices, if I remember correctly most of thier selection go for roughly online prices. And are kept impeccable.

ShopRite? The grocery store?

Yep. There is a few of them around me that carry cigars. The ones by me(Hamilton & Bordentown, NJ) keeps them in great condition. I remember you mentioned you get to the Trenton area occasionally, there is one in Ewing that also carries. Not sure of the conditions, but I'd venture to guess it's also good. And they are also smart enough to keep the infused separate as well.

That's gotta be like the store owner/GM/RM's personal project.

My first one and I enjoyed it, would smoke again. I paid a lot for this one but I really wanted it and I’m happy w/my purchase. $8.50 for a single. I will not pay that much again but I’m glad to know how it tasted because I like the brand.

It is. They are all owned by the sane guy. They own about 30 stores across Central Jersey.

ShpoRite Cigars.

I will keep that in mind. Makes me like them more, even the ones around here that don't have cigars.

82413 Avo classic from darklord trade.

Decent mild cigar. Dry grass, cinnamon/cedar, bready flavors very smooth no bite on retro creamy texture. Burned evenly, no progression/changes. Halfway it went a bit sour. Purged a few times with some improvements but only temporarily. Could be too wet, pulled it from bulk singles instead of my desktop. Who knows. It wasn't bad in the first half.

Label on it says 2019 and the yellow cello confirms this claim. Was a delightful cigar. It was like I was smoking a snickers. Thanks Marcus, I’ll definitely be finding some of these when some go on sale.

Post 1813 and 1814 look like they posted at the same time with the same number, so I accounted for it in my "skipping" and just went with the flow.

It was actually #1814 and #1815 who posted at the same time.
Also, if you look closer at #1815 you'll see they posted 2 cigars, they just did it incorrectly. So Stogie didn't actually skip a number with post #1816 and we were and still are 1 behind.
Therefore, next number should be 82428

Upon further review I now see that Greenie did list a 2nd cigar but did it horizontally so I didn’t read his post all the way through.

Good job! ThumpUp

No.5 of the 8 cigar sampler this one was really good beginning to end.
It was as good as the Fugazi Tat so I'd buy 2 of the 5 tried so far again.

Maybe when SOB's life returns to normal he can reassume his role as Emperor of Audits, but in the meantime, I think we should appoint Toker as Keeper of the Count and of the Sacred Scrolls.

SOB can show him the secret handshake (and expense account).

82433 Padron 1964 Family Reserve natural.

For a $25 cigar there's plenty of $8 cigars that give me a similar experience. Full flavor, very spicy, cedar dominant. Burn and draw are perfect. I will say the Padron profile isn't my favorite to start but I thought maybe I'd enjoy an ultra premium Padron. I like well aged x000's on occasion. I just don't see the ROI being worthwhile once the price tag is this high. I did not get $20+ worth of entertainment from smoking it. I was more impressed with the diamond Crown Julius Caesar jeebling sent me than I was with this one. That had big transitions throughout, this was kinda just the same throughout. I expect a lot more complexity in something this expensive. If this were an $8 cigar it would be fantastic.

82436 Padron x000 maduro with lots of age with thanks to DrgInc. Still very spicy, heavy pepper retro, lots of cocoa powder, and some sweet nuttiness on the finish. The family reserve was definitely more refined but this is great too.

But that's enough Padron for a while. Nothing gonna taste right for a day after smoking two Padron in one evening.

I like this blend. It isn’t pepper dominant and the sweetness doesn’t get to that burnt sorghum molasses level. Earthy but not dank. A bit oaky in the final third. Predominantly it just tastes like a Corojo wrapper done right w/o a lot of the boutique breakout flavors. Nicarauguan tobacco but in the mellow persuasion. This nose is so good. Smells like barnyard and some kind of spice bread.

^Jake, I’m very glad you liked it

82444 Warped La Hacienda First Growth.

Wow! I wasn't expecting this much spice from a la Hacienda. I thought they were just a different size when I bought em but they're a different blend. Loads of eye watering spicy pepper, roasted nuts, dry cedar wood fight out the gate. Thankfully I either got used to it or it settled down 10m in. Great old world profile, nice complex spice blend, lightly creamy texture.

Aganorsa QC isn't the greatest, this is the third of a fiver I've tried to smoke. The first one tunneled so bad it was like only one leaf bunch was flammable. The second only half the cigar would burn. Both left me with a horrid bitter unpleasant experience. Finally got one that burned straight and was a very nice quick smoke. I'm late shift today so I had 40 minutes to have a cigar and this fit in perfectly.

Zesty, creamy, mellow. This is an enjoyable Cuban Sandwich of a yard ‘gar. Light, balanced profile that is satisfying and nothing to complain about. This is my first. Thank you, Jake.

This was a first for me. Enjoyed it very much. Good bit of pepper on retro and a some creamy leather and spices as well. Only had one but I'll have to make a point to pick some up.
