Trump did a great job knocking ISIS down to 1.8% of what the once were. Made Al Quieda and the Taliban look like middle and elementary school terrorists. No complaints. Loved it.
Three soldiers got killed at an outpost just over the border from Iraq in Jordan. The mission of the soldiers there was in a support role to help keep ISIS in check. It’s working (apparently) because they aren’t in the news much.
Last I heard, they were the ones who blew up a hundred Iranians on the anniversary of the killing of Iran’s top general three years ago.
The enemy of your enemy is your friend. With that in mind, why not talk with ISIS, offer a 30 day cease fire with the caveat of having them hammer Iranian proxies or Iran themselves.
The assumption I’m making is ISIS may hate Shias as much or more than they hate us.
If they bloody the noses of the proxies, we give them another thirty days.if they turn on us, we step on their throats again immediately.
