Started a couple weeks ago I think, maybe longer?
Looks like 10%-15%, or more, on the handful of different cigars I’ve been buying there.
Oh well………..makes sticking to the hiatus easier.

The other place is starting to carry more lots and broader selection.
They will likely get some of my winter dollars….

I would say longer, like mebbe four-5 months ago. I bought a couple of Warped blends in April ‘cause the prices / deals were too good to pass up. Haven’t bought from them since but part of it is because they stopped shipping to Hawaii in July or August.

You are probably right.
Last time I was able to snag Le Bijou Pet Robs for under $5/ea was 8/21/23.
10-packs always over $56 these days……..when on “ special”.

“Regular” prices there have also gone up considerably for the stuff I look at and buy.

That sucks. I haven't lived even remotely near a cigar shop in 15 yrs, so idk what I'd do without online vendors.

Are you just going to have to start paying cigar shop prices, or maybe have ppl mail you smokes?

Probably neither. If I don’t make another purchase but smoke a cigar a day, I guesstimate I have enough to last me about 5 years. Luckily there are still a few vendors that “didn’t get the memo” and will ship here. Ultimately hoping the law will be amended to allow cigars to be shipped here again.

No, I had a moment of insanity, and bought one box having never smoked one a few months back.
Now they are on sale again, and I was THINKING of getting another, but thankfully my madness has subsided……..for now.
I should smoke one I suppose…

Ok Z, I just smoked one.
Perfect construction, burn and draw.
Flavors somewhat muted, nuts, a bit of leather and some muted spices.
These have been in my resting cooler at 65/66 for about 5 months.

I have read, from multiple sources, that these do much better at lower RH, with flavors popping more, etc.
So, I’m gonna let them sit another 6+ months, then dry box a couple and revisit.
Not buying another box at this time, but if they wow me next Spring, at $125 for a box of 25, I will most likely buy……….if available at that price……at that time.

New Hawaii law that was targeted at online vape vendors but was too broad when it said that vape and tobacco vendors had to have a Hawaii tobacco license but the license stipulates that the retailer must have a Hawaii storefront. At least that’s what I understand.

I cannot, of course, name the online places that no longer ship here but CBid and its associated companies were the first one’s to announce their restriction to Hawaii. The small place seemed like it was cool as I was able to place a couple orders after the law went into effect but they put the brakes on last month.

But I’ll survive. Plenny to smoke and iffin’ I get really desperate, I’ll just go back to smoking Swisher Sweets and White Owls. Laugh

I think so.
He bragged about having enough for two years……..IF he only smokes one a day.
But we know he smokes like 3-5 day.
So he will be out in like 5-6 months, and thats not counting all the cigars he sends out.
So, he will be out in like 3 months.

Palama is low, and has no place to buy.
Oh my…
