I love how no matter how bad I abuse a cigar I don't think I've ever had a tear or crack with a broad leaf wrapper, and they taste great.

Yeah, I love the taste. Something about it reminds me of when I first started smoking cigars. Maybe I smoked a lot of broadleaf back then without realizing it.

It's not where I started, but I was gifted one on a golf course...a Leon Jimines in a glass tube...used to buy them here all the time. A great cigar. I always go down Maduro row, but I don't live there.

Looking forward to trying the new Perdomo

A few decades ago all I smoked was CT broadleaf wrapped cigars. Topstone (machine made) was my brand of choice. They are not easy to find anymore and are a lot more expensive than they were in the last century. I also enjoyed some of the the Mass and Penn grown broadleafs. CT tobacco farms are much fewer and far between now.

So very few and far between. Over the past decade many of the tobacco fields have been paved over or are growing corn or other vegetables. It used to be there were tobacco fields for miles along the Connecticut river. Not anymore. Sad.

Brazilian maduro is a favorite of mine along with CBT.

Not sure about the aging part, it’s not UNTRUE but not always true either. Often times I like cigars fresher with CBT (most but not all Tatuaje).

You should ask ChatGPT why does SA Maduro maduro wrapper get used on so many GD cigars…..

I've not been a fan of Tatuaje CBT - fresher or aged. Brazilian maduro is also one of my favorites.

I'm not a huge fan of CT wrappers so much. There are some I do like but I seem to be drawn to Nicaragua tobacco and maduro wrappers. With that said, LFD Double Ligero Maduro is one that I try to keep in my stash. I really like Chiselito

Just completed a bombing run to hit someone on here on CBID with 5 Tatuaje Reserva Broadleaf. Should be a decent smoke. Knowing he likes Nicaraguan filler, I just figured I couldn't go wrong because of the broadleaf.

Well done, delicious cigars! The tat Reserva Broadleaf is rapidly becoming my go-to smoke... It's kind of funny, I tried Tats a few years ago and just didn't get the allure. I am glad I re-tried them after getting a broader perspective, I would have been really sad if I never smoked a Reserva Broadleaf Noella.
