I can relate!!! I get along better with Animals then people... I have Selective Friends!!! Herfing

When the Mrs. and I go on our Trips on the Bike, I fly the American Flag and the Confederate Flag on the back of the bike, people will pass us and either give a thumbs up or flip us off... when we're stopped somewhere, the only people who'll speak to us are those who are not offended by the flags we fly going down the roads...

we got cussed out in Savahanna GA... Run off the road in South Miami... etc. etc so on and so forth... it's an Adventure!!! Beer Beer

People who are still wearing their masks inside their vehicles when they Travel down the open roads... the Chick in Savahanna was a 300# rainbow haired black chick at a gas pump who's GF got out of the Mini Van and you could hear the van sigh... the So. Miami was probably a disgruntled Illegal? windows were tinted? a couple drug dealers at a shady motel in Nashville... (Mrs. always has to have a smoking room) and these type motel/hotels have allot of shady folks, needless to say I don't think they liked us pulling in for the night with our Flags, the next morning these same two druggies were sitting in their running car across the parking lot, and my hair stood up on my neck when we were loading the bike up the next morning to set off... I didn't put the flags on until the gas station before hittin the highway...Herfing

I'm sure those people mistakenly thought you were supporting the racism and slavery that are commonly associated with the confederacy. How rude of them.

Ever thought about adding a rainbow flag just to confuse them?

I actually Hollored that at this woman.. Hey Lady, If I had a Rainbow Flag I'd fly that too!!! what was commical was I fired the Bike up to get on the Highway and Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" was playing on the Stereo so I cranked that up leaving the parking lot, get out on the entrence ramp to the interstate and this building had Flags hanging off of it at least 50' American, State and Confederate Flags all in a row off the building.. it turned out to be a Good Day!!! we made it all the way into Tenn. see for the night..

Waterfront in Savahanna GA. has old Slave Ship Ballasts Bolders which line the walkways along it with Plaques that tell about these Slave Ships and Heritage all over...

The Harpie Gov. of NY signed a bill last year I think banning “‘symbols of hate’ shall include, but not be limited to, symbols of white supremacy, neo-Nazi ideology or the battle flag of the Confederacy.” from all public property.

"The Confederate Flag is a symbol of racism, exclusion, oppression and violence towards African Americans," the law's clownish hyperbolic language said. "Its public display is designed only to instill fear, intimidation and a direct threat of violence towards others.", basically anything else the historically ignorant LEFTY propagandist leaders of New York might arbitrarily consider offensive. When people say something worth responding to I join in the conversation, with some exceptions.
MACS for example has asked me not to respond to this posts - I think I make him mad.

In a way, my silence is a response to your writing - I think it speaks volumes....

What makes MACS disinterested in your response I think is often what you consider a worthwhile response is really just tripe.
That goes DITTO for me.

What can I expect from a guy who insinuates the Confederate Battle Flag is offensive and a symbol of hate, but in no way is able to defend that position?
