Yeah that stopping point was probably for the best.

I didn’t say I wasn’t talking to you anymore. I said I wasn’t going to discuss one particular thread anymore.

When I state my belief on something here strongly, or I state something I believe to be point of fact….I will state which if pressed on the subject. One can believe their thoughts to be point of fact but it’s not irresponsible to clarify that it was (tongue in cheek) in fact, opinion.

The priests I stated as a percentage, nothing to do with a cover up. The initial crime and the cover up are two separate crimes that should be prosecuted both equally to end. The percentage compared to that of Gen pop at large is a statistical statement not my opinion (They ARE). Tongue in cheek again….

When questions aren’t asked with proper context folks are going to go into tribalism because if stated improperly questions have one outcome. The “gotcha” that was the real object of the question. Or you can get clarification on the question. Problem is these days many seeking “gotcha” don’t like getting caught and won’t correct.

which is why when asked a pointed question, unless obviously innocuous, I generally reply "why do you ask?" so as to get to the real question.

the real question can be answered easier when it's not a follow-up.

softball example:
Hey, are you going into town today?

why do you ask?

the real question is if I can do a favor, which should be up to me, but when asked as a follow up it will often be more like "Good. Then you can pick up my dry cleaning...do you mind?"

Much tougher to say "no" when the questioner has demonstrated how easy it would be for me to do what they think I should do for them than if they had asked if I would go to the cleaner for them.

What was the question again?
Sorry.

Anheuser-Busch Loses $6BN In Six Days After Trans Ad Campaign That Top Execs Never Approved

BY TYLER DURDEN
THURSDAY, APR 13, 2023 - 03:05 PM

Quote:
After reaching a three-year high of $66.73 per share, Bud Light parent company Anheuser Busch Inbev lost more than $6 billion in market cap since announcing its partnership with 26-year-old transgender 'influencer' Dylan Mulvaney on April 2, as bar owners and distributors report a sharp decline in Bud Light sales over the past week.

The company's market cap fell as low as $125.7 billion, down from $132.8 billion six days ago, a drop of more than five-percent.

Meanwhile competitor Molson Coors (TAP) saw $350 million added to its market cap over the last week.

Bud Light's partnership with Mulvaney included custom cans featuring his face and pro-LGBTQ language to commemorate the biological male's 'being a woman' for over a year. The ad campaign kicked off with naked Mulvaney drinking Bud Light in a bathtub.

And while Anheuser-Busch issued a statement in support of Mulvaney, saying it "works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics," the Daily Wire reports that company executives had no idea about the ad campaign.

AB should take away 3 bucks off every 6 pack as a sign of good faith returning to Earth. Then offer contests with codes on bottletops that offer prizes like that wokie being drawn and quartered by the Clydesdale team, party with the Wassup Guys and prank call Dylan, having Alissa Heinerscheid clean the stables on her hands and knees with toothbrushes...it could go a long way to bringing sales numbers back to where they were.

‘Biden's TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney has sparked a influencer counter revolution against WOKE NIKE by real women.
They are mad and they're not gong to take it anymore! Cursing

Burn Bra Challenge’ gains momentum on TikTok in calls to boycott Nike over Dylan Mulvaney ads

Quote:
Nike faced increasing backlash from women over having transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney promote the company’s apparel as a “Burn Bra Challenge” was launched on TikTok.

A self-described “Southern Mama” said she was “sick and tired” of Nike “pushing us around” before burning her sports bra and encouraging others to join in the viral challenge.

“All you real women out there – we are in the fight of all fights,” the woman who goes by the TikTok handle “chatterbox.mama” said to her more than 140,000 followers on Tuesday.

“Since the 1960s, we have been fighting for the right to be women,” she said.

“Nike, you should be ashamed of yourself,” the TikTok influencer continued.

“You chose a little boy with no breasts and some junk in his pants to represent real women.”

The TikToker declared: “Nike, I am done with you.”

“I will never, ever buy a Nike product for as long as I live,” she said.

“And there are millions and millions and millions of women just like me.”

She then challenged other women to “burn your Nike bras … as a way of showing our solidarity and how serious we are that we will be recognized.”

Corporate WOKISM takes it to the next level of the BIZARRE.

Lingerie Brand Billed as “Created By Women, For Women” Features Ad of Biological Male in Bra and Panties

By Margaret Flavin Apr. 15, 2023 8:45 am

Quote:
Luxury lingerie brand Honey Birdette bills the company as created ‘by women, for women.”

Taking a page out of the Bud Light marketing plan, which led to a nationwide boycott resulting in the reported loss of reportedly over $7 billion in market cap value in recent days, Birdette “celebrated” women by putting a biological man in lingerie in a recent ad.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Birdette featured a male model in their new “RUBY” 3-piece lingerie set. Model Jake DuPree poses in a red bra, panties, and red matching stockings. The caption reads, “Red curtain moment! @jakedupree stars in the RUBY 3 piece set.”

Why a biological male is wearing a bra, with no breasts to support, is anyones guess.

“Created By Women, For Women”? They carved out their niche, by women and for women…but now we concede that slice to the men playing adult dress up. Odd, the same people that get pissed when a white actor gets cast in a role over a POC somehow are the same people promoting men dressed up as women and beating out women.

NO WOKE BETTER BEER. I'd take a Yuengling over a BUD any day.

Yuengling Brewery Tweet Shows Some Beer Companies Still Understand Their Customer Base

By Mike LaChance Apr. 16, 2023 7:00 am

Quote:
Now that Bud Light is imploding under the weight of the Dylan Mulvaney fiasco, some American beer drinkers are trying out other brands.

One brand that’s getting a lot of attention is Yuengling, which happens to be America’s oldest brewery.

Yuengling seems to know that they have a huge opportunity to gain some serious market share because one of their recent tweets shows that they understand their customer base.

YUENGLING APPEARS READY TO POUNCE ON BUD LIGHT WITH PERFECTLY-TIMED TWEET

Yuengling — America’s oldest brewery — ain’t sitting idly by as Bud Light sinks like a brick. In fact, it appears the iconic beer wants a little of that $5 billion action that Anheuser-Busch lost this week.

In perfect passive aggressive fashion for 2023, Yuengling’s official twitter account was ready to pounce like a pack of wild wolves Friday afternoon.

Shortly after AB released an official statement in the wake of the Dylan Mulvaney fallout, Yuengling fired off its first tweet in a week with a simple message: we make good beer!

Yuengling is not only America’s oldest brewery but it’s also the largest American-owned beer company as well despite only being available in 1/2 the states.

I love Miller HIGH LIFE...**** bud light.

I DRANK IT IN HIGH SCHOOL...
I DRANK IT IN COLLEGE...
I DRANK IT IN THE 1990'S when it wasn't cool and was frowned upon...
I drank it in 2000-2010...

I drink the hell out of it now...
24 Oz. CANS in 12 pack cases...which equals a normal 24 pk case of 12 Oz beers

I was paying $10.39 per case of 24 Oz. CANS in 2019
Then $11.69 in 2020
Then $12.79 in 2021
Then $13.69 in 2022
Now $14.79 in 2023

A 24 pk case of Miller high life 12 oz. cans is $19.99...
I save $5.00 bucks by getting the 12 /24oz "eiffel tower" can size case.

Correct, Yuengling Premium was terrible but drank it to support local business. Old folks drank the Porter, 50/50, and Lord Chesterfield. The brand was floundering, then Lager appeared in 1987 and they hit a home run. They only had enough to supply a small region, then took over old Strohs factory in Tampa and were able to expand their football. Business took off and never looked back and is now worth a fortune.

I remember hearing old timers professing how Porter was healthy for you and it aided medicinal purposes. They believed it to be the cure for whatever ailed you, and doctors would write prescriptions for it to help with anemia and various other maladies. Yuengling officially brewed “near beer” during Prohibition, but unofficially they brewed the real stuff as well which helps explain this:
Quote:
It delivered a truckload of beer to FDR when Prohibition ended
When Prohibition was struck down in 1933, Yuengling celebrated by brewing a special batch of "Winner Beer" and delivering a huge quantity of it to President Roosevelt on the day the amendment was repealed. Which was kinda suspicious, since Yuengling's brewing process takes three weeks to complete.

I will say this for yuenling beer/s....

Yuengling Lager is one of only a handful of domestic AMERICAN BEERS THAT ACTUALLY HAS "TASTE"...

LORD CHESTERFIELD has A very unique taste

Yuengling Lager does also...

A few others...

Rolling Rock used to...not anymore but it's drinkable

BUDWIESER ( regular)

Miller High Life

Hamms ( yes hammS beat 25 other American beers in a recent taste test, all the best domestic sellers)

Coors regular banquet beer

Craft beers are a new invention....most of them have massive FLAVOR PROFILES...

GERMAN PILSNERS ARE EXCELLENT TASTING BEERS TOO
SPATEN
COLBITZER

PILSNER URQUELL OUT OF CZCHELOVAKIA? IS AWESOME

I do a lot a business with Grand Rapid, MI - they consider themselves "the craft beer capital".
Lot's of heavy, perfumey beers. And some insist that Guinness Stout "the beer that drinks like a meal" is best.

Here in hot weather country light beers rule, because people want something not-so-heavy to drink.

But for the unintroduced, Dallas Blond is in fact the best beer beyond a typical light beer.

The best part of all these people leaving Bud Light for Yuengling is they don't even realize that Yuengling has supported LGBTQ charities as well as sponsoring Philadelphia's Pride Event and many other smaller Pride events all throughout PA... for well over a decade...

Coors/Molson, Titos Vodka, Absolute, Smirnoff, Stoli, Crystal head, Captain Morgan, DuClaw, Barefoot Wines, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Monster, Red Bull, Oreo, Pop Tarts, M&M Mars, Hershey, Chipotle, Kind Bars, Nike, Patagonia, Eddie Bauer, Levi's, Wrangler, Tiva, Dr. Martins, Adidas, Converse, Reebok, Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, Google, Sony, Target, Walmart, Macy's, Starbucks, Wells Fargo, Master Card, American Airlines, Visa, Verizon, T Mobile, Xfinity/comcast, Hasbro, Harley Davidson, Ford, Dodge, Chevy, GMC, Jeep... all the research you need to do to not support "WOKE" is gonna be exhausting for people..

Ford Pulls a Bud Light

If any product could be crazier even than beer to market by associating it with transsexualism, it would be trucks. So Ford rams this down our throats:

https://youtu.be/6bpTflJ6yUw

They would have shown Sam Brinton stepping out of the rainbow truck in the latest dress he stole, but he was otherwise engaged.

The liberal elite types comprising the advertising industry probably live inside a bubble of unmitigated moonbattery in which they never encounter a regular American. Even so, they can’t be this clueless — not after what has been happening to sales of Bud Light. They aren’t trying to sell trucks; they are sending a message:

We don’t like you smelly working people who buy trucks. We would rather sell pickups to Dylan Mulvaney instead. If transsexuals don’t buy trucks, fine; we won’t sell them. Our business model doesn’t require us to. We make moronic electric vehicles that no one wants to please the kooks running the federal government. In return, bureaucrats give us your money whether you drive our trucks or not.

I drove by the manhiem auto Auction yesterday...
It is one of the top 20? Biggest auto auction east of the Mississippi...maybe in the top 10???

I drove by their non selling lot across the road nearby ...
It was filled with 85% or more of massive ford, chevy, GMC, RAM BIG FREAKIN TRUCKS!!!! I MEAN THEIR OWN "ZIP CODE" SIZED MEGA TRUCKS!!

NO ONE CAN AFFORD $55K TO $95K MASSIVE TRUCKS THAT GET 13MPG- 17 MPG...THEY ARE TOTALLY UNSELLABLE...NOBODY WANTS THEM..doesn't matter if your a rich redneck , rich farmer, rich azzhole, rich ghey tranny or any normal income person...

It is a travesty of auto makers over production of a product nobody can afford or wants...

IT WAS FREAKIN' MIND BOGGLING...

HAD TO BE 400 TRUCKS ALL 2020-23 BRAND NEW OR LESS THAN 20K MILES ON THEM...prolly 50% repossessed I bet...

A few years ago a guy I knew was selling one of those mega trucks for like $80k, I said who the hell has the money for that, you’ll never sell it close to that price? Those who do would be buying the luxury SUV and not a truck that goes 0-60 in a tank of gas. Well much to my surprise he sold it very quickly. At the time the gas line money was flowing and these guys working the line were making crazy money; working hard and living hard. Eventually that work and $$$ dried up and guys moved on.

It's a MEXICAN insurrection in the beer market!

Bud Light lost out to Modelo for title of America’s most popular beer in May: report

Modelo Especial has reportedly taken the top spot as America's most popular beer

By Jeffrey Clark | Fox News

Quote:
Bud Light has been dethroned as America’s most popular beer, according to consumer data obtained by CBS News.

That title was won in May by Modelo Especial, which has increased sales by $333 million since 2022, according to behavior analytics firm Circana in data cited by CBS. Bud Light, in comparison, sold $297 million worth of Bud Light for the "four weeks ending May 28," according to the same report.

Modelo is a Pilsner-style Lager that was first produced in Mexico in 1925, according to its website.
