Can't say I've ever had the pleasure Jonesy.
I've never been much of a movie fanatic.

wtf?
you've deliberately stunted your brain growth!
This explains a lot.

Hopefully it's not too late for you to develop...run, don't walk, to your nearest (I'm guessing here) Blockbuster!

All cultures in the world express much of their essence(?), raison d'etre(?)...what word am I searching for? through film.

Start watching ASAP. Thank me later.

Jonesy, tell him what he has missed!

Rented Bottle Rocket on VHS back in the day when movie rental places were still alive. Didn't know much about it, but the dude behind the counter (mom and pop movie rental place) recommended it.

I'd rate it as a must watch.

C&P from IMDb
Storyline
Upon his release from a mental hospital following a nervous breakdown, the directionless Anthony joins his friend Dignan, who seems far less sane than the former. Dignan has hatched a hare-brained scheme for an as-yet-unspecified crime spree that somehow involves his former boss, the (supposedly) legendary Mr. Henry. With the help of their pathetic neighbor and pal Bob, Anthony and Dignan pull a job and hit the road, where Anthony finds love with motel maid Inez. When our boys finally hook up with Mr. Henry, the ensuing escapade turns out to be far from what anyone expected
