there seems to be a consensus among a majority of CBid community members during the past few years...clearly, the best cigar is the CAO Brazilia!!!

Liar

don't be lazy, Neeko...there's a number of threads about "cigar recommendations" in this very forum: the "Cigar Discussion" section of the forum...

use your research and reading skills to determine what members have recommended...then come back here and ask "why?"

failure to do so will give us insight about you.

and... get the "f" outta here...

Welcome to the Forums... don't let the azzhat jokesters scare you away... it is just how they say welcome and they love you...

Few that i enjoy regularly are

Fuente 858
CAO Brazillia
RP Sungrown Maduro
Perdomo Bourbon Barrel Aged
Camacho Triple Maduro
Deadwood Fat Bottom Betty (sweet tip but no infusion)
Buffalo Trace cigars
Oliva Serie 'V' Melanio
Jericho Hill
My Father Flor de la Antillas
Currently working through the Tatuaje Monsters all new to me and loving the Jason at the moment

Poke around the forums and you will see many other recommendations. I also recommend jumping into the noob pibs thread and getting in on some random action to try new things. That will also get you some trade cred built in case you are into that type of thing.

From another thread but there are some good points to consider.

I don't really buy in to the "normal" ideas of what "noob" smokers should or shouldn't smoke. When a friend askes what a good cigar is to start with i don't fall into the troupe of assuming it should be a Connecticut or some super boring smoke (not saying Connecticut is always boring cause some are flavor bombs). I always ask follow up questions like, how do you take your coffee, what types of bears, hard liquors or even food does the person like? i tailor my cigar recommendation based on the answers.

If the person reports they like plain lattes, light beer, simple non complex cocktails and bland food i recommend simple, mellow cigars. If they like espresso, porters, peaty whiskey and complex foods then i recommend relatable cigars that are more flavor bombs.

the only hard fast rule i have is if they are not smokers then i always steer away from heavy ligero stuff.

I want them to have the best experience possible so i can hook them and create a new addict.

I also realize that some days even after 20 years i want a simple non complex easy smoke and some days i want something to taste and think about.

Hey there hot stuff! Your dance card is gonna fill right up with you dancing like that around here!!!!

He wasn't wrong about using that little "SEARCH" function...right next to the FORUM TERMS & CONDITIONS. Almost anything you ever wanted to know about cigars and their accoutrements are there. Hell, we got so bored we started topics on women, Life, music and a whole host of stuff to fill your Hobby wagon up. It's all here. Waiting for you. We knew you'd be eventually stumbling in and finding us and you did! Congratulations! What took you so long?

Try the Padron 1964 line.

Recommendations:

Fuente Hemingway Signature (natural, maduro and sungrown) and an R44 of course.
Illusione CG4 and Fume d Mare
Tatuaje Cazadores, Petite Cazadores Reserva and MEII
Leaf by Oscar Sumatra
Padron 64 Anniversary maduro and 26 Anniversary natural
La Flor Dominicana Cabinet L300 and La Nox (if you’re feeling brave Double Ligero Chisel Maduro)

This is a somewhat big list but also a big variety of both geographic and varietal tastes to get a baseline for you preferences.
