You are a manly man, not like that HD with his WOKE sissy Harry's razor.

I have a Nisaku Japanese Hatchet, it kinda looks like a straight razor blade. Do you think I should give it a go for a shave?

My Harry’s razor identifies as “Harriet” now.

Update. Bought 2 more razors. Gillette king c and after some research got the muhle r41. So far for myself I like the Muhle the best. Running a treet blade currently.

My buddy sent me the leaf razor. He bought the leaf “twig”. I’m personally not a fan of the leaf it’s just a little bit floppy feeling.

Soap I could care less. The Taylor of bond street stuff is a little too smell good for my tastes. I’ll use it up no problem. Grabbed a new boar hair brush that I kinda prefer. It’s a little scratchy feeling but I kinda dig the stiffer brush.

Grabbed a blade sampler to see what I like but I have only really tried the Gillette and shark and now onto the treet ones. Shark is good in my mild razors but I don’t love them in the more aggressive razor I just got.

If you let your beard grow and need a razor that passes thick stubble the r41 is the best I’ve personally used

I used sharks for along time Jake. They were my "learning" blade and served me very well. I graduated to Feather and have not looked back. Having said that,

Is there some supply shortage from Japan? The 100 count box of Feather blades I buy is now 2x the normal price... I used to buy it for $25-$30 bucks and it's now at $50!

Wow...

I’ve got a 5er of feathers. The sampler was pretty large. Some stuff I’ve never heard of.

The treet ones I’m running are carbon so I’m trying to use them up ASAP. I don’t want them to rust living in the bathroom. They do work pretty clean.

Check wall mart .com stogie. If you can handle 200 blades they around 55 for a 200 brick of yellow box feather. Or they have the red and black box 100 packs for 30 something.

Awesome thanks, I always just check Amazon, didn't think of Walmart.

Amazon has been becoming not so cheap anymore. I use them for convenience though. Wall world has become my price check.

I've never bought any razor items from WallyMart or Amazon.

There are always better deals out there if you know where to look. eBay is a good source for bulk DE blades sometimes at good prices. Feathers are way overpriced and overhyped but I do use them once in awhile since I did buy a 100 pack last year from Italianbarber.com when they had them on sale for US$20/100. I see Italian Barber has the black and red packs on sale right now for US$24.99/100 blades.

They are in Ontario Canada but their standard shipping to the USA is very reasonable at $7.99.

That can work but you have to factor the up-front cost of laser hair removal.
