Mississippi State head coach Mike Leach dies at 61 due to complications related to a heart condition. Very sad.

Wonder if it was myocarditis?

And we're still pushing a "safe and effective" jab that is anything but safe or effective.

RIP Mike Leach. His trademark Air Raid offense was a wonder to behold. Never knew what the next play would hold. The games he coached were always entertaining, especially the post game interviews. Brilliant man. Wrote books on leadership style. He was a true character. Will be missed deeply by his athletes.

He was a fun listen when he was interviewed. In seeing him over the years, he had the look of heart disease. Don't think he regularly got his steps in.

I would have to agree. I don't ever recall a dull interview when he had the mike. What really surprised me was the number of current head couches he produced.

"Notable members of that tree include current college head coaches such as Baylor’s Dave Aranda, West Virginia’s Neal Brown, Louisiana Tech’s Sonny Cumbie, TCU’s Sonny Dykes, Tennessee’s Josh Heupel, Houston’s Dana Holgorsen, Southern Cal’s Lincoln Riley, and Nevada’s Ken Wilson. Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury is also a former Leach assistant."

RIP coach
