After being shell-shocked by recent bombs, I tried to get my fuzzy head straight and get myself back on track on Monday morning. All of a sudden, I hear the doorbell ring, which doesn't happen, cause I'm tucked back in the woods. I head to the door, open it up, and find this congenial feller holding a box. It just clicked and I immediately knew. It was that, or a Jehovah's Witnesses' last witnessed moment...

It was Spey!!! Well, I'll be damned! I ushered him in and showed him around the place. And he's aware of my predicament, because he said he didn't bring a single cigar. So I opened up the box -

WHOA!!! 3 bottles of distilled works of art that I had never had before.

1 - Sazerac Rye
1 - Weller 12 Year
1 - Elmer T Lee Single Barrel

No way I was letting this moment pass without proceeding to uncap the Elmer T Lee and pouring us each a shot to sip. So smooth with almost a brandy floral finish. Excellent!!! Thoroughly enjoying the visit, it wasn't long to the glass was empty. So naturally, I uncapped the Sazerac. Never tasted a rye like this in my life! So smooth and delicious. Well, it soon turned to the feeling of a Friday night, so of course, we had to proceed to the Weller. Stunning! Sure, I had work to do, but fucque it!!! I went to the liquor cabinet and pulled out the Old Forester and Elijah Craig Small Batch that I procured thanks to this forum. That carried us through the remainder of a long and fantastic visit. Thank you Spey! Too cool brother!!!

I was gonna incorporate some smart ass schitt into the story for kicks, but no, I just wanna gloat over this.........

Very very nice. I wondered what the events of Monday you were referencing were about. That's great!

I have a bottle of the Elmer T. Lee here, I concur with your assessment. All those are good bourbons. That Sazerac is my go to Rye. I love it.

So with all that good bourbon showing up Rich, isn't your booze to cigar ration kitty wumpus at this point? ;)

I have to think that the fire stick level is low compared to the current fire water levels. One must have the proper level of cigar goodness to balance all those drams of whole grain goodness.

Just sayin................................. Frying pan

Gunner, sound logic that. It would be a shame for all that nice whiskey to miss out on being drank with good cigars. Really, it would be a community service.

Alright you Rat Bastids!!!

We have already discussed this at length. Gunner, my friend, you deserve all the bombs. You have been involved in the trading and sharing of purchases. You deserve everything you get. Me, I haven't done schitt. 'Cept for hang out and be a pain in the ass. And yet, I've still been the recipient of way more than I could hope for. But SERIOUSLY, I do not have the room or storage for anything else. I have dropped the price of my place, and dropping it again in a few weeks if I don't get a contract. It's MOVE TIME. ANYTHING ELSE SENT WILL SUFFER THE CLIMATE EXTREMES OF OUTDOOR STORAGE!

I plan to get involved when I reach my next he11ho1e. And I think I might be using AKDave's old gun cabinet method for creating a new humidor as well. Then, you can start bullying if ya want! But not until then.

BTW - Send to Delta. I think he could use a pick-me-up. He seems kinda bitchy lately...

LOL. All the drama. Rich is wetting himself over three independently timed bombs that he thinks you coordinated. LOL

Steve02 dropped the heavy bomb on him, while I, not knowing that was happening sent a surgical strike for a couple of smokes he mentioned wanting to try but passing on because of his pending move. Then, Spey dropped in with a load of firewater.

Izonfire has had a good week. Beer

Hmmmmm...........

Let’s see... Celtic’s the only one who had my addy.
So who do you think is ultimately responsible for this fiasco???

And I wet myself cause it’s late,
and I’m too f’n lazy to get up off da couch.
Feels kinda warm n’ cozy...

You’re right. It’s been a great week. And gonna be a great weekend. Possibly 3 synchro-smokes. One for sure with you Vince. Looking forward to it!

Granted, there is a fine line between "instigated", and "facilitated", but, there is however, a line. Anxious

So Yes would be the short answer?

Frying pan

When I learned I was a FIB.

The waitress who had been very personable to this point asked me,

"You know why you can't get a BJ in Chicago on the weekend?"

"No, why?"

"Cause all the pole smokers are up here!"

And walked off. Well then. Ok. LOL.

Live and learn. My Auntie in Lancaster still loves me though. At least she says so. Think

Ended with some Powers gold, and Tullimore dew 12. Had some great shepards pie so it seemed appropriate. Plus, less carbs and calories than wine.
