Just start a thread of your own....jack it up, and get it over with for ****'s sake.....maybe gerbs can give you some pointers.....like taping down the 'enter' key...or whatever mad puter skills he put on display here a few years ago

I don't want to completely cheat the system...that wouldn't be fair to NW. I'm trying to make my posts at least somewhat normal...although to you guys, it doesn't matter what I post, it is a waste of space...haha

I can't say I blame you... I've been trying to defend CBid, but all I can say at this point is - They really effed up. Then... instead of owning the eff up... they've effed up some more.

Customer service is usually top notch. The company has hung them out to dry. It's shameful.

So just go back from emergency room. I was picking up some folks at the marina by boat. As I see the car backing up next to the seawall at the boat ramp I run on the dock to him to tell to stop, it turns out that there is a step on the dock and I trip and careen head first into 18"deep water. To stop myself I grab a dockpiling and try to swing myself back on the dock. Ended up ripping open my forearm on a screw and lacerating my leg on barnacles. Blood everywhere and the EMS even cringed. After they stiched me up in the trauma unit after 6 hours of bleeding on the ER. So leaving the hospital all the pharmacies are closed and I have no pain med but need to go back to marina and cross the sound. No moon pitch black. I have GPS and a flashlight but my light craps out after 10 minutes leaving me to find my way across the water. The pain is kicking in and vodka is my only consolation. About to runit out of battery. .........

Yes......sorry for the rambling.

Now awake.The vodka has worn off and I am on an island with no pharmacy. I will have to improvise again till this afternoon when I get back to the mainland.

I must say my arm looks much better today looking like Frankensteins forehead than it did yesterday as a 1 inch wide gaping wound. First stiches in my life but i had enough skin to stitch and my leg only needed to superglued. Bright side...I stopped myself from falling headfirst onto a concrete boat ramp.


I wish my problem was instead a delayed cbid order.

Spent an entire day on a charter boat with only 12 anglers. The capacity is 55. Ryan Bostian, owner/operator of the San Diego out of Seaforth Landing is a fish magnet. The guy just knows where to find yellowtail.

We went south of the Coronado Islands, then headed west, farther out to sea. Ryan and his first mate, Matt, were glassing the water looking for kelp paddies. Even the really small ones had fish under them. I quickly landed two 5-6 pounders, then went stone cold as everyone around me was hooked up. Then when I did hook up and got #3 to the boat, I lost it at the rail trying to get it over. d'oh!

I put two more fish in the boat... and went stone cold again. Failed on two hookups. Finally, at the last stop on our way home, I boated my 5th fish (limit). It was a good day.

Oh... I burned a QdO corona after my breakfast sammich, and a Monte Tubo for the ride home.

Sounds like a day better spent than working.

I'm heading to Florida in a few days. Was considering going out on a boat with my dad n son, but I don't think there's any way to clean and cook the fish where we're going. Gonna just try to find a good coastal fish restaurant.

Glad you lived Tom, but get your ass to the pharmacy asap for the antibiotic and take full course as prescribed.

If they didn't give you a script for one, make sure you follow up as soon as possible with your primary. Might get away without abx (preferable) but it needs to be watched carefully for infection given the location/conditions of the injury.
