What recourse do I have then? call customer service, and ask for a reship? 120 inbound lines, all tied up, with only a handful of people on the answering end, you'll understand where I'm a bit wary.
OMG I hope we're not still non-stop for another two weeks. What little hair I have left will be on the floor by my chair.... You can always PM me here. While I work with a different business unit now, I still make sure Shana and DaMarie aren't taking too much of a beating. And of course, I get a message that I have a PM.
I will also tell you that upper management is actually out on the warehouse floor packing and picking boxes and working to figure out ways to do some of things we did before. My boss goes out every day around 4pm to pick and pack boxes until about 8pm each day. That's after a full day of dealing with all of us!
This computer change was a complete 100% change from what we had before. That system, we all knew how to work around its 'eccentricities' and get the job done. This one, we're still figuring it out and upper management is out there working on just that. We had to change systems though, because the old one was outdated and couldn't handle any kind of upgrades.
Could communication have been better? Of course. Communication is always at fault - from internal and external workings of businesses to failed marriages. And if I could make the danged Sticky notes work, this would have been the top message on the forum!! (Inside joke for the
)
Anyway, please stick with us. Trust me when I say we are truly doing everything we can.
