Has anyone else noticed that CB has stopped putting the sizes in the auction listings? I think it's a mistake, because newbies will be repeatedly disappointed by surprises. I think that usually the surprise will be that, because of the picture, a 5x50 can now be confused for a 6x60, and a 6x48 might look like a Churchill. Is it a deal-breaker? Not yet, but it's clearly a move in the wrong direction.
CB, you're my favorite auction, and I'd like for you to stay #1 so you can keep buying low and keep getting us incredible deals. But, consider this. The customers that seem to buy cigars by the amount of tobacco per dollar, rather than by flavor and experience will find things more difficult. Alternatively, some of us prefer the smaller cigars because of the wrap/binder/fill ratio difference. A temporary boost in accidental sales is not worth sacrificing your position of trust and goodwill with so many customers. The best move here is to put the sizes back and reconsider the scope of authority of the person who made what can fairly easily be understood as an error in judgement.
