Mornin' - It's National Coconut Torte Day, National Earmuff Day, National Good Samaritan Day, National Jewel Day, National K9 Veterans Day, National Open an Umbrella Indoors Day and National Napping Day.

I may actually leave the house today for the first time since Friday. My back still isn't quite right, but I made it through the day yesterday without a salon pas. I'm planning to pick up a few things at the local grocery store if the shelves aren't picked clean by everybody in expectation of the foot- plus Noreaster coming by morning. Be nice to get a smoke in too.

Almost forgot today was Pi Day.

Leftover pizza pie for lunch, gonna have to find some real pie, which on this base (NAB Coronado) is tough. Our fine dining is the Subway plus a Panda Express and Jack in the Box since retirees/contractors can't eat at the Galley. It's good if not great.

Didn't know you worked on NAB. I did a couple tours there. My wife works at Bldg 505, the BEQ.

There's a Jack in the crack there? They got rid of Mickie D's? Shows you how often I visit the bases.
