The site was closed yesterday, Saturday February 11th for maintenance. As a long time purchaser who ever refined the web page SHOULD BE FIRED immediately!!!!

Also to the OP, just went and looked. Gotta say, mobile and full are schit.....go search brands....jesus it's a disaster of a mess.

And the mobile version shows in a schitty fashion btw.

Poorly executed.

So I would be the first to admit when I have made a mistake in venting my frunstration on the redesigned site, I offer my sincere apologies to cigar bid for my original post!!!! The mobile app was completely disoriented, the big brand list had multiple brand Mfg missing, search for brands brought up no results, cigar bid is my number one choice and I always tell people go to cigar bid.

Don't worry dude...but for a first post it became sort of a target for the FOGs. Gonz

I checked out the full site and it was disoriented too.

Stick around, it's a fun ride.

New site is terrible. It's harder to find brands. I also like trying different cigars and most items do not provide sizes. It makes it impossible to select athe size you prefer. Further, I found an interesting multi-brand sampler, and opened it only to find all La Pearla cigars. Could not locate it and quit. Waste of time. I hope they fix it soon!

Oh, yeah, well, that does suck because:

"Images are for demonstration only. See description for exact detail."

d'oh!

I'm not bidding on something only to find out it said Robusto Grande, or some crap description like that , and it's a 6.75 x 58 ... or a Corona Extra that's 5.5 x 52.... You can never tell these days from the names.

"Yeah, but you can go to other sites to get the dimensions." Yep, and I can buy them there too. BigGrin

Beer

EDIT: Ok, tourettes outburst aside, I see that some of the descriptions still have dimensions. Angel

I do like that under the brands tab now it appears to show all merchandise and samplers (I don't think it was all displayed before). Maybe this was implemented earlier but this thread prompted me to look around the site and I noticed today.

Although when you click on that **** it doesn't bring up the targeted results the way it used to just executes a search of the site that brings up many related results as well.... at least that's what happened when I click on the crowned heads sampler.

I wonder if there is an age gap in frustration?

Baby boomers... Oh dear where is the bid button.

Generation. X .. This is like my Commador 64 ,Trash 80 etc.

Millennials ....This is too bothersome. I could do it better because momma always said I was brilliant. I guess I will rant and rave until the adults set it right!!

Lol. Also for boomers and PRE boomers aka really old farts. We sometimes win a bid at a great price only to remember at some later date (following a long humidor rest). That we thought we were bidding on a favorite pricey blend only to discover that these were the sticks that we threw out. Yes I DO speak from experience. Senility can be fun when you fart out loud and everyone is too polite to call out the old guy but not so much when your eating cat food for dinner AND smoking crappy cigars

Now I know why all the bids lately have been going so high lately- must be all the noobs that think DPN is some kind of disease.
