When the fallen soldier's body was returned to the U.S. president Trump went to the airport to pay his respects. No fanfare, no photo op, just dignity. A very classy act on his part.

He did the right thing assuming he didn't discuss crowd size or his landslide win with them.

It was mighty white of him.

The bar is low.

But indeed he did what he should which should be acknowledged.

Happy Sunday TW, I am aware of your feelings toward him. I think your need to belittle him when he does something right is beneath you. It only minimizes you to others, makes what you say less relevant to others. You are better than that.

It's amazing to me the need to put this out there. It should be an expectation not something outstanding.

PC goes many directions. I knew the other form of pc would take issue with my comment.

He did what he should. No more no less. But he's so uncouth it seems spectacular.

As for making it personal it's not.

I voted for bush, had a party when the court put him in office then became disillusioned with him when he went in to Iraq for no good reason, against most the rest of the world, and claimed to have intel justifying it and anyone questioning that was unpatriotic. Any country disagreeing had their food names (which was really never their food) changed and stuff.

It was political correctness that brought us the patriot act, Iraq etc. to dissent was outrageous. Neither side has a monopoly on that tactic.

No in related news the pope prayed today! Isn't that great!
