Thank you, thank you.

I'd like to credit Victor for the assist, pizzing on the 500 thread to the point of me just leaning on it to receive the highest of halcyon heights. I could count on centipede colony the number of rewards I've received in my life that matters as much.

The ghetto compliment from my so cal desert rat and the certified Ram blessing makes it all worthwhile.

Dark chocolate for everyone!

Truly, truly dizzying feats of malaise and apathy to reach the 500 finish line first, yet with limp twisted apathy. That takes talent.
We all shine more from your example, 8. Bravo, for with each passin......f it.

Moving on: Cab Calloway?!? How old is frankj1?
That last thread was so slow and uncaring the wheelchair brigade must have caught up and inserted a mole....

PGIF...can't take another day of work. Been an awful week for me...mentally. Really need a pick-me-up.

In the immortal words of Rebecca Black...

Seven a.m., waking up in the morning
Gotta be fresh, gotta go downstairs
Gotta have my bowl, gotta have cereal
Seein' everything, the time is goin'
Tickin' on and on, everybody's rushin'
Gotta get down to the bus stop
Gotta catch my bus, I see my friends (My friends)

Kickin' in the front seat
Sittin' in the back seat
Gotta make my mind up
Which seat can I take?

It's Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Gettin' down on Friday
Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend

Partyin', partyin' (Yeah)
Partyin', partyin' (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin' forward to the weekend

7: 45, we're drivin' on the highway
Cruisin' so fast, I want time to fly
Fun, fun, think about fun
You know what it is
I got this, you got this
My friend is by my right, ay
I got this, you got this
Now you know it

Kickin' in the front seat
Sittin' in the back seat
Gotta make my mind up
Which seat can I take?

It's Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Gettin' down on Friday
Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend

Partyin', partyin' (Yeah)
Partyin', partyin' (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin' forward to the weekend

Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday
Today it is Friday, Friday (Partyin')
We-we-we so excited
We so excited
We gonna have a ball today

Tomorrow is Saturday
And Sunday comes after... wards
I don't want this weekend to end

R-B, Rebecca Black
So chillin' in the front seat (In the front seat)
In the back seat (In the back seat)
I'm drivin', cruisin' (Yeah, yeah)
Fast lanes, switchin' lanes
With' a car up on my side (Woo!)
(C'mon) Passin' by is a school bus in front of me
Makes tick tock, tick tock, wanna scream
Check my time, it's Friday, it's a weekend
We gonna have fun, c'mon, c'mon, y'all

It's Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Gettin' down on Friday
Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend

Partyin', partyin' (Yeah)
Partyin', partyin' (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin' forward to the weekend

It's Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Gettin' down on Friday
Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend

Partyin', partyin' (Yeah)
Partyin', partyin' (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin' forward to the weekend

I'm 63, my father always had music going, big band, jazz, etc. He would tell me stuff about them...and he loved Cab's humor.
I remember seeing him in his zoot suit as a kid on TV shows, and I do have one CD. To me, one of the marks of a legend is when your music endures for generations and current listeners have no idea of the origin...like Calloway's song that is used for The Olive Garden restaurant chain ads, Everybody Eats When They Come To My House.

victor's criticism of 8's spelling is off the mark...

puric: epic, awesome, sweet, groovey

I've added a new word to my vocabulary. Thanks 8!

In Victor's defense (can anyone believe I just said that?), I do think my brother probably meant pyrrhic.

Puric is not a word... unless you consider the urban dictionary legitimate.

Context people....
Can anyone imagine Mr "grass is greener 5 states over and I'll never see it I'm just stuck in a frozen wasteland and trudging to work every week until the sweet release of death" 8track would describe a victory as "awesome" "sweet" or "groovy"?

I rest my case. He must have meant pyrrhic.

3 Floyds released Behemoth a few days ago. The one annual release beer I go out of my way to get. Well, I go out of my way to get for wife. It's good stuff, but I don't care enough to bother. It comes out around her birthday every year so it's an easy thing to get her.

She cracked a bottle tonight. So good.
