I agree with the OP. Last time I cared about the Pro Bowl was only because I ran into a few players in Waikiki....Daryl Green looked fast when he was standing still....Reggie White was cool, but he was still an Eagle then, so I hadn't developed the sort of fan-crush that a Packer fan gets for our future HOFers.

The game has never been more than a joke....other sports try to ratchet it up by playing mid-season or turning it into a weekend of silly side competitions...what's the NFL to do? Risk injuries in week 9 and throw in some PP&K goofy crap? Hawaii was about the only 'interesting' aspect to begin with
