Yes.

Will I get banned talking about local shpo's?

How near the airport are you staying, and will you have transportation? Our public transportation inhales forcibly, but Uber and Lyft are ubiquitous out here.

Habano's Café and Cigar Bar on Hancock (Off Rosecrans) is probably the closest. I haven't been there in a few years but enjoyed it the few times I stopped by.
Off of Claremont Mesa BLVD between the 805 and 163 (so about 10 miles from airport-"close" for SOCAL!) are two of my favs:

Excalibur, which is more upscale and has a full bar. Got to buy your cigar there, but they have a large walk-in humidor and decent prices.
Liberty Tobacco, which is more like the man cave smoking lounge (unlike their Del Mar location). Also a large selection and pipe tobacco but you can bring your own.

They are about a mile apart.

PM when you will be out here-I'm slammed the 26-28th but all of those shpo's are sort of on the way home from work. Also can get you on good restaurants-gotta have fish tacos if you never have.

No car, so either public transpo or Uber/Lyft/Cab, or walking. I've been to SD once before but we were near the gaslamp quarters was able to walk to Cesar's from hotel.
This time we are pretty much right next to the airport.
I am more just looking for a place to smoke with a like minded atmosphere.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Lounges in Old Town seem to be the closest to where I will be at.

They may still be here... moving companies in the area told 'em to eff off, they were not helping them move.

That's just hurtful. Not that I really care.
