I'm not sure if you're being a smartass or if you really can't see the 10 in that row of numbers after the thread title.

We have 3 elevators in our building at work. Two of them are next to each other and go back and forth from the main floor to the lobby. The third one goes to the medical ward.

Elevator #2 has been down frequently over the past few months, and I looked in the room where the electric motors and hydraulic pumps are located. #2 is leaking hydraulic fluid. The “fix” has been to put absorbent pads around the pump housing and refill the tank with fluid.

Well… of course we get charged every damn time this d-bag maintenance guy comes out to “fix” the elevator. So I called the trouble desk and specifically told them what was wrong, and that they needed to fix the leak, instead of just refilling the tank and replacing the absorbent pads.

After I made the call, I took down the confirmation number and gave it to the floor supervisor and showed him the issue and told him what I did. Yesterday maintenance guy shows up and he is pissed at me. Starts cursing at me telling me I don’t need to tell him how to do his effing job, he knows what the eff he’s doing… etc. So I said… if you know what the eff you’re doing, why haven’t you fixed the leak?

So… we’re down to 1 elevator, but at least it’s going to be fixed right this time.

I predict this will hit 500 tomorrow night.

Man, it has been a really rough week for my stress/anxiety. Just a crappy week altogether. The weekend cannot get here soon enough.

even if you think you post #500, you may not be afforded that opportunity....MACS would have to eschew shenanigans....and, of course, Ram is the only one who can authoritatively acknowledge your 'right' to name the next

Erroneous. I am never the perpetrator of shenanigans, I am merely the one who points it out when it happens.

What? You don't believe in radical Islamic shenanigans? It's not just a theory. Ask Jonesy.

Until hank is willing to say the words radical Islamic shenanigans we will be the victims of it.

But once he says those words we'll all be safe.

Back from Chicago. We survived.

Drove down to the camper to reset mouse traps. All were sprung, none were caught. Replaced a bunch of bait. Little buggers have eaten through half a pound of poison blocks already.

We left almost nothing in the camper for them to tear up. They managed to unspool the whole toilet paper roll from the spindle and make nests with that.

They shredded part of the box of garbage bags.

Visible wires in the cabinets and stuff seem to be untouched so far.
