Only ONE shipping method with CigarBid: “5 Day Saver Shipping”. That's seems quite a long time, and no options.

So I emailed and asked CigarBid customer service about the shipping options.

Good morning, Thank you for contacting CigarBid.com. Regrettably, we do not offer expedited shipping options such as UPS Overnight or UPS 2nd Day Air. That said, our standard shipping service is 5 Day Saver shipping. With this service, the delivery will be made by UPS, USPS or combination of both carriers. Depending on your location, delivery will be completed within 5 business days, but shipping times are not guaranteed. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes you.

Worth noting that Cigarbid is part of Cigars International, and CI has good shipping choices available: https://www.cigarsintern...onal.com/help/shipping/

The competitors auction sites all offer good and fast customer friendly shipping options:

Until I read 4.

Seems sheet for brains can copy and paste, but isn't able to comprehend.

And in case he's reading this, that means "to understand".

Shipping usually gets to me in 1 to 2 days...getting what's supposed to be in the order is another issue altogether though.

He mentioned "competitors", but as far as I can see he never mentioned them by name. No rules broken.

However... if the competitors are so much better, why not just buy from them and leave it at that? Why come here and cry about it?

Here's a fact for you: I live across the country from CBid's location. I almost always get my orders in 2 days. Quite reasonable.

What you really meant to say was that you really don't have a supply so you need to expedited shipping so you have something to smoke. As a result of your poor planning you've come here to whine. If you're that hard up I suggest you hit the local stop-n-rob and get a pouch of white owl peaches.

When you grow up, get a large humidor, coolador or something similar switch your preferred shipping method to weekly USPS, you'll have to call customer service and speak to one of the awesome ladies to do so. I would suggest you choose to have your close out on Tuesday. If you do, you're probably going to get your order on Friday or Saturday which ends up being 2-3 day shipping for $7.95 per order.

After that is done, start building an inventory. Most of the folks who hang out here have "collections" as small as 3-400 cigars. Some upwards of 4-5000 so you won't find a lot of sympathy for someone in hurry.

I'm all jelly. My Thursday shipping preference ends up getting delivered to my Washington state residence the following Wednesday. You must have one of those secret premium memberships... Herfing

Although I hate waiting, I love saving $ more. I can deal.

They will be shipping nothing to a losing bid.

Keep that in mind and bid accordingly.

Losing a bid is a sign of weakness.
