Just read that the officer who fired the fatal shot(s) is black. Any guesses as to why that's not being widely reported?

who says it's going unreported? as much as you'd like to turn this into a white vs black thing, it is and always was, black youth culture vs dirty pig culture - thing. and a civil rights thing, as in, "a we all have civil rights because of riots just like this one" thing. so no matter how you cut it, blacks striving for rights is what got us all most of our rights so you'd better be able to say "black lives matter."

that most, some, or a portion of them are racist, is immaterial. any marginalized group of people saddled with the thankless job of advancing all of our civil rights, would make anyone racist. so, fk you all for that too.

a few questions come to mind...

what does the wife mean when she tells her husband "don't you do it"... don't do what?

also, this "TBI" the wife says he has, is that bullsh*t? He's behind the steering wheel of a car... if you can't understand simple commands from a police officer, are you ok to drive a car?

seems like a person with that severe an injury shouldn't be allowed in the drivers seat at all in case he accidentally puts it in gear...

My wildly speculative thinking says this guy had probably discussed with his wife previously his desire to commit violence against police... she knew full well he had a gun... had a pretty good feeling what was about to go down (notice she's not between him and the cops, she's safely tucked behind some vehicles 50 yards away)...

right before he's shot, whether or not he has a gun in his hand, his hands are in the quick draw position and he has one hell of a strange way of backwards walking... watching the video, I struggle to develop a plausible scenario for what this guy is doing outside of:

1. He's really mentally f*cked in the head, in which case he shouldn't be behind the wheel of a car, he shouldn't have a gun, and his wife should be blanketing him with her body to protect him...

or

2. He' got a gun and he's getting ready to spin around and shoot it out...

Keith Lamont Scott, the 43-year-old North Carolina man shot and killed after a confrontation with Charlotte police, allegedly stabbed his wife, hit one of his children and threatened to kill his family, his wife claimed in multiple requests for domestic violence protective orders, one of which she filed last year.

Local media obtained the documents. In 2004, Rakeyia Scott wrote that her husband "assaulted me several times by stabbing me in the back almost puncturing my lungs, he sliced me [sic] ear, and bruised my body," Fox 46 reported.

In October of 2015, she wrote, "He hit my 8 year old in the head a total of three times with is [sic] fist... He kicked me and threaten [sic] to kill us last night with his gun. He said he is a 'killer' and we should know that." She also said he carried a 9mm handgun but did not have a permit for it, WSOC reported.

In the end, the Office acted lawfully and no criminal charges will be brought.

Scott had warrants out for his arrest, and was seen smoking a MJ blunt while in possession of a firearm (which in itself is illegal). Scott drew the firearm from it's ankle holster while exiting the vehicle and did not comply with Officer's multiple requests to drop the weapon. Scott's DNA was found on the gun, a live round was in the chamber with the hammer cocked, and live ammo was found in his cigarette pack.

And yet they are still trying to spin this as it's the officer's fault. Look out for more violence as a result of not charging the Officer.
