Do you ever get that feeling when you are outside and suddenly everything goes still. No breeze, nothing. Then right about the time the hair on the back of your neck starts to stand up and you get that eerie feeling, the air pressure changes. And then you know that all hell is about to break loose. Mother Nature is about to unleash her fury. Your only hope is to make it to shelter before it hits.

Somehow, I think the next few days will feel like that for some.

Well, the pre-storm calm got extended just a bit. Can't get to town to ship until Mon. But hey, only one of these is actually going to someone who expects it, so the delay shouldn't matter.

1 for PIB Wants
1 CAO Sopranos bomb

The rest?

Two headed to one addy via different carriers. Two different recipients at that address… hmmmmm

One will drive the recipient "nuts"...

And the last? Let's just say that Hose Jockeys make excellent targets…

I'm sorry, mikey, but I am tossing the "bs" flag here! You may have 3 of them, but I doubt you have all 6. If you can name all 6, you get to choose a target and I will send a little love in their direction.

Post up your first 6 guesses. I will even give you a second chance on each one you got wrong.

Allrighty, lets break this down:

The first two are pre-arranged

Two headed to one addy via different carriers. Two different recipients at that address = a couple, really narrows it down

One will drive the recipient "nuts"... nuts, get it, peanuts

And the last? Let's just say that Hose Jockeys make excellent targets,,, Firemen, Brave Dudes!

It was that easy

You have indeed caused a narrowing of the path of sorts. But, I thought you had guesses on the actual identities of the recipients.

Hose jockey, yes
The box is indeed nutty but not quite that way
Yup, a couple

So, take your shot, mikey. If you don't get them, then someone else can take a try. If someone gets all four correct before the first one lands, which should be by tomorrow, that person will get to pick a target for a small box of love. I am the final arbiter in this contest. You know, my contest, my rules. This is for fun, so no hurt feelings allowed. Except maybe for mikey. He bruises easily. whip

Anyway, I am out and about today, so I'm not sure how well I will be to check this until this evening. I will try.

One quick hint here, Grumpie and I have actually met all the 4 surprise recipients in person.

One guess list per person, at least until I have had a chance to check back in. I may give extra guesses later. My rules.

More clues
As I wandered upon the shore of the sea, waves washing over my feet, I chanced upon a cluster of creatures. A fish! Boy, what a fish! Wait, two fish! But wait, what kind is that one? A red herring? A gull landed and quickly gulped them both down.

And there was the strangest thing, a shell moving upon the beach. I picked it up. To my surprise, it was a crab. Such a clever crustacean to take its house along wherever it goes. "Where from?" I ask. "Texas!" came the reply. "Keep in touch" say I. "I'm a texter, not a tweeter!" said he.

Then as I come to the end of my journey, a lovely pair of tigers sauntered past. Alas, one of them was limping. I offered to render assistance. "none needed, thank you" was the reply. I watched them with my beady eyes as they continued their patrol, saying a few words of comfort into the wind.
