Having started smoking premium cigars later in life but then enjoying about 3 years of pretty good financial success, I bought a chitload of smokes during that period. Six coolers with humidors and Tupperware for overflow, I would have to say I have too many cigars. The rough guesstimate is at least 2,000 but wouldn’t be surprised if it was closer to 2,500.

Depends how much you smoke in my opinion. I smoke one a week, therefore having a full humidor feels like enough. I have friend who smokes 3 a day, he is well into the 1,000s at this point

Holy resurrected threads, Batman!

I have too many cigars when I have to give some away to make room in the cabinet. The cabinet is 6' tall, 4' wide, and 1.5' deep. And I recently had to give some cigars away.

When I have to add another storage unit because I can't fit new purchases in what I now have. Haven't done that in a couple of years - 12 containers is my limit right now.

I've lost count......ergo...I have too many...

and I've got three boxes and a couple fivers on order, to be delivered in a week or two...

so.......to make room, I'll have to do a massive re-arranging of my collection of cigars in five 2 gallon snap lid tupperdors, one large 12 gallon snap lid storage box, one small tabletop humidor, one medium tabletop humidor, one large tabletop humidor and one large end table humidor ....

nurse, help me....

I had too many at one point, but that was trying new things and when the auction sites had good stuff and good deals so I bought boxes of stuff just to try em. May have gotten up to 1k.

Had two huge pelican cases, a few ammo cans, and bought a cooler to store more and realized this is ridiculous half this stuff I haven't even tried and I'll probably lose interest in a few years anyway. Quit buying, started giving a lot away, and got it down to a handful of cigars I know I like and one nice humidor.

I smoke maybe two a month average.

I went from one humidor to 3. The last humidor being a 100 count. Hopefully I can keep that as my limit!

LeeBot's 3rd axiom is that the amount of cigars you own expands to fill the space allotted to them.

Don't buy more humidors (or tupperdors or coolerdors).

Sounds like if I want to stay a sweet innocent summer child I better not buy anymore humidors.

The real question is if I’m a sweet innocent summer child, what’s that make you guys? Herfing
