I've always enjoyed all the sizes of the Hemmingway maddy line.

Had some nice Anniversario Maduros as well..

As for every day I enjoy the Genesis Project and all Camacho maduros as fairly low priced options that are pretty good imo

For best smoked I'd have to say a 2 year old AF BSM. As far as everyday...8-5-8 Maddy. Herfing

But I'm a noob so what do I really know? Frying pan

Genesis for sure as a good daily.

Favorite maduro that I've had is probably the LP9 or Anejo. As you can see I am a sucker for CBL.

Good everyday maddie, for me, is San Lotano Oval. Camacho SLR maddies close second, especially in the small perfecto vitola.

I like the La Aroma de cuba Mi amour as well as the macho slr maddie. The Sainit Louis Rey serie G always knocks me on my butt.
For a cheap one the Diesel unholy cocktail is hard to beat.
If you put a gun to my head and said you could only smoke one then it would have to be the Lat 46.

Don't think I've managed to keep em that long...

Everyday? I gotta second the Padron 2000/3000 course the 7th Reserva ain't bad neither...

Best? For me probably a toss up b/w the Anejo/PAM 80th & the 100 Anos Maduro...

Then again YMMV...

for a cheapie, it's hard to beat 5 Vegas series A.

I smoke a lot of maduro, but quite a few that are not.

One thing that makes cigars interesting is the wide variety.

With my personal tastes narrowing more and more, been trying a wider variety. Always enjoy threads like this.

+1 on the Padron 2000 and the 858. I am currently smoking an 858 S.G., which is also great, and almost maddie in color.

Dave (A.K.A. Homebrew)
P.S. Just picked up a box of AF WOAM, which are also great maddie cigars.

For a special occasion, try the Litto Gomez Diez Small Batch. Not sure if it's a true maddie, but the wrapper is an oscuro... very dark. Latest version is the #4. They are pricey, and beyond what I can spend on an everyday, but the complexity of the smoke and the numbers of discernible flavors are astounding.

Another very good one is the Oliva V maddie, for about half the cost of the LGD Small Batch. Neither are priced for "everyday" smoking in my budget, but great smokes.

I'm a huge fan of the AF Spanish Lonsdale Maduros for everyday smoke. Trying to recall how it comapred to the 858 but I recall liking the Spanish Lonsdale Maduro more than anything else in the regular lines (eg, non-OX, non-Anejo). I have a box and it never lets me down.

Another great Maduro is the Perdomo Champagne NOIR (not the normal maduro) in Extra Corona. Abit of work to manage the rH so it smokes right (storage at 72, box it at 65 two days before smoking or you will have draw issues), but a fantastic cigar.

Other than an AF Anejo #49, I have yet to find the "perfect" maduro. Have not tried the high end Padron Maduros although people swear by them - if they can afford them.

They really are not that bad, nice toasted cocoa and cream flavor.

Some construction issues but I have had luck after doing an anti beetle freeze and warm up cycle then letting sit at 60% rH for 1-2 weeks. The issue seems to be an rH differential between filler and wrapper so making the cigars go through all of that gets them on the same page.

Good beach cigars imo.

not sure if it's even my fave, but one that took me lately that I really enjoy was the EPC Cardinal Maduro...I think the original EPC was just ok, but the cardinal maduro was a whole new level.
