The Strokes - Comedown Machine...it's like revisiting 1979-82 music...all over again. Some of it isn't bad.

Retouching bodybuilding, figure & bikini competitors, smoking an Illusione and drinkin a brew. The hours are long but it could be worse for sure. I'm grateful.

Ladies and Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones
Documentary of the '72 US tour by Rollin Binzer.

WOW. What a huge difference in the sound quality and polish compared to Martin Scorsese's production of The Band's The Last Waltz.
Was never been a big Stones fan anyway.

A Van Morrison compilation of my all-time favorites. Among them "Angeliou," "Natalia," and "Dweller on the Threshold." Always have some Eric Clapton , SRV and Allman Brothers (...with Duane, of course!) handy too.

Jimi Hendrix - People, Hell & Angels...some of this had appeared on other "material" that I already own...this collection has been ran through with a fine tooth comb...the production is really good.

Mojo Man

After listening to this and hearing interviews where Jimi says he was tiring of playing Rock...some of this stuff i believe was gonna be on his next album.

Remember the times...back when he died...Think of what was popular..."Shaft"...71...Hendrix died in 1970...he was ahead of the curve for sure...anyways if you are a fan of Jimi Hendrix you'll like this newest offering a lot. You won't feel like you got ripped off with another "greatest hits" collection or poorly rehashed mix tapes found in a basement. Personally I can only take his music in small doses. It has such a dour mood all over it that I start to even feel depressed after listening to too much. This one...had me toe tapping though.

I gotta give this one a listen. Thanks, hope our tastes are similar.

Saw Jimi here in Hawaii in 1970, his last American concert. Still have the handbill for it too.

Odd as it may sound, "Caravanserai" and "Welcome" are my most favorite albums to listen to. They just flow and put me into another place and time.

Well, I'm assuming that the line you just quoted is from the first Santana album...otherwise I'm looking pretty dumb.

Nope, you were right. I can remember getting the album when I was about 10 years old. When my parents heard all the drums coming from my room, they knew........
