This is a robusto and it's my 1st cuban Cohiba. I've been wanting to try one ever since I began smoking cigars. Well, my time has come. The flavor of this cigar is phenomenal! Good thing I have more.Herfing

I remember my first Cuban Cohiba and I've had precious few since then but it was magnificent. Looks like you had a similar experience. Welcome to the SBOFF (Secret Brotherhood of Forbidden Fruit). Yeah, I just made that up. I'll send you a secret decoder ring if you want....Wink

Heck yeah I want a decoder ring! So, we are 2 strong in the new club you just made up...who else wants in? hehe
I have a nice assortment of the forbidden fruits now, I just hope I don't get spoiledAnxious

Very nice.

My first "real" Cohiba was a Siglo II (smaller vitola) and the wrapper was beat to h-e-double hockey stick. But it was still really good and held up fine. I guess it helped that it was in its own coffin (i.e. paper box).

Those are good smokes, but see if you can find some aged PSD4s.....tastes like your smoking a cinnamon stick. By the way, your screwed now......might as well just max the card out and buy a huge assortment of cc's to age.

Too late. Wait until you smoke something pedestrian you used to like, it just won't be the same.

The Cohiba Robusto is perhaps my favorite smoke at the moment. I very much prefer it to anything i've tried in the Siglo lineup (which includes the III, IV, and VI).

Theeee most overrated smoke of all time, never met a Cohiba I liked from any country. But glad you enjoyed it!

You know, we all have a story about:

The girl you had you don't want to talk about-and at the time, she really wasn't that bad now was she?

The CC that you bought that was in a glass top box-again, it may have been pretty bad, you just didn't care!

AND the day you had your first woody that lead to messy bedsheets! It felt good and well, it wasn;t that bad either! LOL!

Canary Islands...

Don't get me wrong, Cohiba are decent smoke. To me, there are much better CCs for the coin...

I have a few Siglos hiding in the humi and of course I'll smoke them and enjoy them,,,

Congrats on your 1st cuban smoke.I suppose Cohibas are the ones everyone wants to smoke 1st.Hype and advertising do work..

I think there is more to it than just hype and advertising, but +1 on lack of "bang for the buck". I'd smoke 'em if I could afford 'em.
