I believe these were fresh at the time, when we met down in TJ for the Taboada event in late 05. I remember thinking it was grassy, but had potential. Good to see you're still here X. I am in SD now if you ever want to meet up for lunch and a cigar.

Applause Grats on the find and I hope they all smoke well for you. Great picture btw. Applause It's either my camera settings or operator error, but I can never get lighting and focus even half that good.

Thanks, tay! The secret is a 45-degree angled soft light, no-flash, far away from the cigars with the lens far out, at the close-up setting.

Or you could send me your cigars, so that I can take pictures of them for you...return not guaranteed XD

Wish I had made that event but X supplied me one of those Toboadas last time we met in SD. That cigar is still in my top 5 all time.

Ya, I still have 1 salamone from 03 event, and a Pyramide from 04 that Echo4Alpha and I did a split on......but those double-corona closed foot from 05 were/are still the best cigar I have ever had. We hit a small taco shop and watched soccer, then drank mojitos for 5 hours and stared at Rodolfo....atleast I did Angel . At the Thursday night SoCal herf we talk about the years following 05, and Taboadas strict guidlines on tobacco and blends. Holy cow I love that guy and now that I live 15 mins from the border, I wish I could get one more shot to see him roll. What a God. Drool
