I've been doing some subtle (or not so subtle) things with the smoke, negative space, etc.

I did with this one too. My ten year anniversary is coming up in September and we've been looking into some options for vacation (anyone a travel agent??) and I was struck with how it all started with a kiss.

SO - here is the WHOLE thing. Actual scan, kids for scale and kiss photo it is based on.

Another great painting Muhren! Everytime I see your work it makes me want to get the acrylics and canvas back out and make a mess. The blues and browns are perfect in that painting. nice work!

By the way its a great piece, I love blue so it just draws my eye to it. It's very creative, I could definitely sell my girlfriend on this one!

I've been trying to think of some 'lady approved' art. Well, art that a lady wouldn't mind looking at that is. I don't think they're so into the idea of naked women. Some are...don't get me wrong! Most are not. d'oh!

I tried to hit a medium with this one. Something a man could hang (cigars) and something a lady wouldn't mind (theme)

Also, I'm working on a PAIR right now. "His" & "Hers" Both 16 x 20 (smaller than this so they could be framed and hang next to each other)

Man with cigar & scotch. Woman with cigar & wine.

Mostly black.

FWIW - I like the start I got on "His" Dancing

Mike, yet another great pc. of work, I very much like the color choices used. And ultimately this could help lead to a wider approval rating by @ least some wives /girlfriends regarding our rather romantic little hobby........lets face it, this can only help our cause (hobby) if they Feel included...........keep up the great work Mike!!!!
