I'm just sayin, you couldn't knock Harry out of office, you couldn't even take the Senate. What's up guys, it looks more like a typical mid term election that the landslide you all predicted.Shame on you

If that was a typical election result, we'll take it every time.

Every time.

Really, thought it would be much harder for Dems. That's what I've been hearing anyway. Where's all the jobs the Republican controled house promised?

I've made a small fortune, and you've squandered it all.
You've shamed me till I feel about one inch tall.
But I thought I loved you, and I hoped you would change,
so I gritted my teeth and didn't complain.

Now you've come to me with a simple goodbye.
You tell me you're leaving, but you won't tell me why.
We're here at the station and you're getting on.
And all I can think of is...

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone!

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone!
I didn't know how much longer I could go on,
watching you take the respect out of me,
watching you make a total wreck out of me.
That big diesel motor is a playing my song.

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone!

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone!
That load on my mind got lighter when you got on.
That shiny old bus is a beautiful sight,
with the black smoke rolling up around the tail lights.
It may sound kinda cruel, but I've been silent too long:

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone!

This was not a good result for the Democrats nor a typical midterm election.

You can imagine how much worse the mid-term elections would have gone for the Dems had they not employed, true to form, flagrant voter fraud.

14% turnover in the House last night.

The gigantic hope and change "mandate" in 2008 provided a 4% turnover in the House. When Nancy came in to clean house with her "mandate" in 2006 she had a 7% turnover.

You categorize it however it best lets you sleep.

As for Nevada, I'd like to see Harry The Mummy there forever. Same with Moonbeam Brown in CA. Forever and ever and ever. The voters deserve exactly what they want.

drywall,
It's the single largest turnover between parties in the House in over 70 years.

I'm not claiming a GOP victory until the the senate has more conservatives, but in the meantime it's foolish to understate the signficance of such an historical swing.

Truth is, we need balance in this two party system.

DWD, there was widely reported fraud in NV. Not saying he didn't win, but that wasn't a proud win just a narrow ass save. He spent 22.5 million in tv ads in a 3 week period. Here in Oregun both Govenor canidates together spent 5 million the whole election in tv ads. You can deny the impact of the results last night, but not the impact the Tea Party has and will have moving foward on R's.

Yes, using a nadless weasel as the poster boy for your beliefs is really gonna sway a lot of people.

It's right up there with recommending Jack Kervorkian as a grief councelor.
