This is serious beer!! I had it yesterday at a herf and it was one of the best beers I've ever had, and certainly the best beer I've had with a cigar!! It's a German Wheat Dopplebock Ale made by Schneider & Sohn. As far as flavor, very full bodied but incredibly smooth with a sweet kick, kind of like a strong porter mixed with a sweet heffeweizen. And it has 8% alcohol so be careful...

Try it, you won't be dissapointed!!!

My current fav is Dog Fish Hea d Indian Brown Ale. 7.5% alcohol and soooo very tasty.

Had the same beer with the same questions ... CW was obviously paying more attention than I was too, 'cause I didn't realize the alchohol content ... which could account for MrsS inquiring about the extent of my drinking at this event ... that was a damn fine beer that you can bet I'll be drinking more of

Thanks for the tip; strong German dopplebocks are my favorite; current favorit: Ayinger Celebrator Dopplebock; very potent as well. I'll look for your selection.
