Greetings folks,
I am a newbie to posting here but have been reading the threads for about 6 months now.. Before I ask my question I thought I would give you folks the basic bio.

Age : 29
Length of time smoking cigars : 1 year
Location : Boston
Occupation: QA Engineer
Top 5 Cigars : Padron Anniv., Cohiba Red Dot, Ashton Cabinet series #2, CAO Anniv., AVO no. 7....
Drink of choice with cigar: Macallan 12 year single malt or Makers Mark depending on mood..

Now to my question, I recently tried the Private Stock label and found them to be pretty decent. What I was wondering is, are these really Davidoff seconds or are they just made with left over scrap from the same factory. Any personal opinions of this cigar would also be appreciated... Thanks

Greetings, Padron ... good to have you with us. If you've been reading for a few months, you're no doubt well aware that we ask new members to send each of us a "welcome me to the board" cigar ... judging from the list of favorites you've provided us, there's no doubt you'll be sending some pretty decent smokes (which always makes a good impression) ...

re; your question, I've never tried the PS smokes you ask about, and cannot offer you any input ... no doubt some here have done so though, and will be willing to share their insights.

what a bunch of ingrates ... I tell the new guys that tradition dictates they send EACH of us a cigar and I take all the flack ...

I just might start letting someone else tell the new guys what traditions are ... geez

The P.S.s are good smokes, just make sure you get the long filter ones. An even better buy are Hendrick kelner 2nds, true Avo/Davidoff 2nds.
