Another question for all the experts. If a cigar is a Senoritas 5 x30, 30 is the gauge right? I looked up on a site on the different gauges and 30 is way bigger than a cig. size cigar but the picture looks really small. Is a 30 about the size of a cig?

I have found that google.com is one the the best search engines on the internet ... and can save you a lot of time. Just type in the keywords, and you won't believe the information you will get.

Check out this site and this site for a couple of examples of what I found in just a few seconds ...

On the host website, www.cigarsinternational.com click on Cigars 101. This is an excellent primer for a new cigar smoker.

Here is a printable gauge for cigars. Also you can just buy your cigars here and do not have to hassle with the auction.

I just remember that ring-gauge is measured in 64ths of an inch, so 32 = half an inch in diameter, 40 = 5/8ths, 48 = 3/4" and 56 = 7/8" ...
