I wouldn't have imagined that the Obsidian White Noise would have made it to the "great cigar" thread. Nice of you to throw a shout out to lanceltlink tho.

Glad you liked the Capa. Some people like them, some people don't, I like them more than I like the tats everyone else raves about ;)

I had the 10 year of this...I think it is the same thing at least...and it may have been the best cigar I have ever tried.

Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Perfecto. Grateful to try this but probably wouldn't repeat. Thanks BGZ.

That's why cigars come in different shapes and blends.

Just noticed the above, here's what I came to the thread for...

Smoked a RASS from burnem2, it was good.

Paired it with some random Islay scotch from a "scotch by the dram* box I got for Christmas.

Tatuaje Havana VI Corona Gorda from BGZ. Little stronger than the Miami line and a little less smooth towards the end but I would smoke this one again. Thanks Ben.

Lfd Colorado oscuro No. 2 from Shaun.
It's a bit chilly this evening so picked out a short smoke. This cigar has so many great flavors I rarely taste in the cigars I smoke. Thanks!!!!

I've enjoyed many of the cigars that Crowned Heads has produced. The Jericho Hill seems to age better than most of the others. Glad you liked it!

While on vacation to / from and IN Nicaragua I ashed a few great cigars from Liverocks ( Chris )

Diamond Crown Maximus, it was pretty decent but not as enjoyable as the.....
Julius Caeser toro!!!!!

After landing and arriving back @ my BIL's place we both enjoyed a nice Cuban offering again from the beatdown Chris put on me:
BIL ashed the Monte mini torp and loved it, I ashed the RyJ Short churchill while we enjoyed a snort of VIP Bourbon from Big Red liquor. Thanks Chris Beer

Smoked a new to me Quesada holiday keg cigar at a 9 hole glowball tourney last Friday night thanks to Chazbo for sending it with the 3 unmarked cigars for the annual blind review. We made par straight through which isn't bad for a course we rarely play on.

Enjoying an AKA hybrid now also thanks to Chazbo.

At the annual "Spear Herf & Turf" yesterday, (a big success, I'm told), I smoked a CAO Amazon Basin, gifted to me by mjtoal's brother, "Mr Mojo".

Produced only once every three years, this was a great cigar ! Thanks, Pat !

What was supposed to be 70 and sunny, turned out to be 62 and overcast, but no rain, so the day was not ruined.
It got chilly enough that the ladies in attendance wanted a fire built. Good call, ladies. That fire made the difference.

Everybody seemed to have a good time. I know I did !

Paul, I just smoked the Tierra Volcan Fino (orange label).

what a truly unique cigar. I've never smoked a cigar that left a fresh clean taste in my mouth on the finish, with legs!
Each draw was like I had rinsed my mouth after exhaling, just so different from any other tobacco experience.

Does that make sense to you?

Thank you so much.

Edit: and inside the label it said 04-15

Frank,

They are a little different on my pallet than other cigars as well...I think I know what you mean by the clean feel as I smoked one after another of their cigars without issue of torching my pallet....while there. The date inside the label is when that cigar was rolled, not sure if they're gonna continue that or not but it's pretty neat to know that. Glad you enjoyed it Frank!!

Happy Memorial Weekend my friend,

Paul

ZRX ( Jamie ) I'm pretty sure that's who shared that friggin phenomenal JD #4 I ashed last night. A cigar I came across in the humi I remember came from the HOTM waaaaay back when.

Thanks for an awesome smoking experience, that sucker was packed with flavor nuances I couldn't nail down but enjoyed the hell out of for a solid hour and a half!!! Paired with a finger or two of E.Craig

...my 2015 Secret Santa (Delta1). Santa smacked me down HARD with a *GREAT* array of swag and seegars, including a Fuente Anejo Shark. Ashing it up right now and in addition to an easy draw, lots of smoke output, it tastes soooo good! Thanks again Al! ThumpUp
