How many times will Ambulance-Chaser Edwards (aka The Breck Girl) say "Halliburton"?

The winner gets a swell prize.

My guess: 10 times

Since the moderator is a liberal, I'm sure she'll drag him by the nose into that arena a couple of times. But if he beats it too hard, it'll backfire.

I'll go out on a limb and say he'll utter it no more than 4 times.

Please send my full box of PAMs prize to ...

I'll guess 9 times. If he says "Ha...Ha...Halliburton" does that count as 1 or 3?

The intent is for 1, so you only get one. Don't try to bend the rules to snag my box of Opus Xs that DD is going to send me.

Hypothetically, If VP ****** Cheney uses "The Force" to cause Edwards to start choking just as he is saying Halliburton, and it comes out as "Ha-Ha-Hal-Hal", how would that be counted? I've read on a number on web sites that he has that power. Could there be a disqualification or recount?

My guess: 12 times (including subliminal messages)

All overshadowed by Cheney's stats on Edwards Senate attendance record.

Missed 33 of 36 Judicial Commitee meetings
Missed 70% of Sentate Intelligence meetings

And this guy wants to straighten out the country?

My apologies guys...I had every intention of tallying the number of times Ambulance-Chaser Edwards uttered his tired mentioning of Halliburton, but a fell asleep the moment he began babbling.

Was anybody else able to stay awake, when he began his pathetic ranting, to count the # of times The Breck Girl prattled on about Halliburton?

^LOL!

I fell asleep TWICE with my youngest under my arm.
My wife said she couldn't hear the "debate" over my snoring.

From what little I saw, Edwards may not have had all of his facts straight but he won the debate. When he asked the camera if we were better off financially than we were 4 years ago, I heard much of the country scream a resounding "NO"!

Cheney didn't even respond one time. When Edwards brought up Cheney's homosexual daughter- Cheney THANKED him graciously. I would have told the lawyer to keep his shallow, gratuitous, comments about my family to himself! Then, I would have dragged him off stage & kicked him in the ass.

I already had my mind made up, and I can not stomach civil trial lawyers. I have to work with them (against them) enough as it is. A re-run of the Sopranos held my interest. So you guys will have to tell me that I won, and what I won. I've been thinking about that 3,000 capacity humidor prize all night.

There was a great deal of rapid eye blinking from Edwards. I suspect it was Morse code for "Haliburton"

"There was a great deal of rapid eye blinking from Edwards."

What did you expect from and ambulance-chasing lib trial lawyer?

Me thinks the eye-blinking probably heppens when he doesn't believe the things he is saying, or he is out-and-out lying.

Take your pick.

Edwards failed to be a credible advocate for Kerry last night, despite his reputation as a great trial lawyer ... he simply could not explain the inexplicable ... the deficiencies of Kerry's record ... ... and, despite his best attempts at spin, there remains no evidence that John Kerry has any convictions ...

I'll take the vice presidential debate for $800 Alex.

Edwards said it 6 times, Cheney 3 times and Ifill once.

Uhhh, what is Halliburton?

Correct!

Hmmmm. Me thinks there was quite a bit of rapid eye blinking on both sides of the table.

Gotta agree with uncleb on this one! Lots of blinking going on!

Of course Johnny boy, showed his slick trial lawyer side, when he failed to answer one question after another!
