Hey Guys,
It has been brought to my attention, that some people, in the Original Birthday Club, are missing Birthday Packages. We all understand that promptness, can be a problem, and things do come up, medical conditions, death in the family, job loss, etc., which may cause a brother to be late, in sending out a Birthday Bomb.
This thread, is for those who are behind, to report to the people to whom the owe cigars, that they know that they are late, and are honestly trying to get back on track. I have recieved a complaint, by one member, who is current, on their sends, that a full third of the members, have not sent them anything, and it has been a reasonable time for the packages to have been recieved. So this is the sound off thread. Please post here, if you are behind, who you owe cigars to, and when you hope to have them sent.
I am hoping that this thread, will aleveiate, any doubt that we are all BOTL here, and that this forum, has not been dragged down, as some of the missing forum members have said, with a bunch of moochers, and jerks. I have heard this, and don't believe it is true. I believe that our Club, is made up of the finest BOTL assembled anywhere, and would love to be proven right.

I had been late sending out a couple of packages, but I should be caught up now. Iceman's went out Monday. As Lowman said, if anyone else is missing a package from me, please let me know and I will take care of it.

I was late with Rck_1...but sent his package out on friday and delivery confirmation said it was delivered yesterday....and so was Iceman's...and i know he recieved his....

mark--gr8stag--step back off the ledge.....can't speak for the others... but i got a beautiful trio of smokes from you on 9.26. if you send to me again the floodgates will open and all sorts of bombing hell will break loose. we could have double gifting all over the world, pandemonium in the streets, smokes criss-crossing the nation, and on and on and on. best regards, john

I am SURE that I am the biggest offender out there...no question!

I whole-heartedly apologize!

I really tried to make it up to the guys that I was late with, and think that they were happy in the end.

For what it's worth, I've had numerous problems with the downloading of the entire list...and it was brought to my attention several months ago that I 'forgot' a few guys...NOT INTENTIONAL!!!

I certainly hope that I'm up to date...to my knowledge, I sent to all through September with the next set to go out in January.

Sorry! Believe me...I think about you guys here ALL of the time! I even dream cigars....in fact, last night I dreamt that the cigar bar I go to was sold and closed for good...all boarded up!!! What a nightmare!

I am the biggest offender here. I have asked everyone for patience. I was out of action due to surgery and now my wife is in intensive care from her surgery. Right now the birthday club is one of my lowest priorities. I gave my word that I will send out the cigars and I will do so, but you have to have patience with me.

I will let you know when I will send out the gars.

By the way,
This thread was not started, with malicious intent. It was started, to aleve any apprehensions, anyone may have had, about being late, or about cigars being late. Everyone in this Club, has an outstanding record as a BOTL, or sister in Marlas case. I was actually shocked to recieve the email concerning promptness. I believe that anyone who is late, is late for a reason. Matt stepped up to the plate, when I was down, and I appreciate that. It is our turn to stand behind Matt, in this time of stress, for him. I personally recieved cigars, as part of this club, 4 months after my birthday, it made celebrating my birthday, that much sweeter. I mean a 4 month celebration. That goes to the heart of the matter. Celebrate Life, and don't sweat the small stuff.

Mark, we have the same birthday, I think I got a package from you. I should have keep a list but was not worried at all about it. I am still not worried about it all. Everyone here is a BOTL and very trustworthy.
