When Robby had his bug problem I sent him a small scud of sticks that I hoped he could enjoy while his sticks were in deep freeze.

Today, out of the blue I get a bomb of a package that included 12 primo sticks in return. HDM ISOM, Various CAO's, and what I belive might be the elusive AF Flor Fina 858 SG.

Robby,

While your package was totally unnecessary it is truly appreciated.

So yesterday I'm away from home until 11:00pm.

Had a great time at the Bucanero show. Hung out with Robert and HockeyDad. Talked, and had a great time watching the Bucs pound out the Texans. It was a pre-season game, but I think they showed that they're ready NOW!

Anyway, I get home and go to my office and there's a box. Whoo-hoo! I open it up and was blown away! Robby you got me. I haven't listened to the cd yet, but I will and will post on that later on in this thread. The smokes that you sent...Whoa. Top shelf all the way. Thank you. There were some that were on my "To Try" list too. Yeah, I know everyone's got one of those, but when somebody bombs you and your selections are in there, its like some mind-melding Vulcan trick.

Live long and prosper!

Way to go Robby! Proving that no good deed goes unrewarded around here. That's what this board is all about.

Hey out there in radioland! This is Lil' Wolfie pickin' 'em up and laying 'em out there for you to get your groove on.

This next number is going to rocket up the charts...Its Unnamed so if you've got one for this lil' tune then we'd love to hear it. The winner will win a backstage pass to their next show...So far all we have is Track 8...

I just finished your cd Robby. I liked it. Here's my review...Sorry if I compare people to your stuff, but that's what I'm gauging it on...

Early Journey(Gregg Rolle era) with a sprinkle of very early Elton John mixed with a dab of the Eagles.

Vocals reminded me of Bryan Adams and Cat Stevens. Wasn't too keen on the song with the woman on it...I don't know...maybe its just me.

I liked the Piano/Keyboards w/ string arrangements when used...nice touch.

Tracks 4 & 8 stand out strong. Very nice stuff. Are you still playing? What covers did you guys do?

Thanks for sharing, I hope I wasn't brutal...just being honest.

heheh thanks! I don't really play much any more. That CD is all me. I wrote, produced, recorded, and sang all the parts. Except a bitch x wife that sang on the song you said you didn't like.

I still pick up the guitar from time to time. I'll be doing it more. I've decided to get back in to that and the keys.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

That was YOU on guitar! AWESOME! I bow to your six string prowess! I was going to put that the bass seemed a little hidden, but hey somebody's gotta stick up for hidden bass players!

Keys too, I gotta tell ya, I really do like Track 8. With a talent like you've got...I'd send some demos out...you never know!

Thanks for sharing this with me! The cigars were a bonus!

Thanks Doc, Rocco that is indeed an "aged" 858 SG. Enjoy it, it is a wonderful cigar.

Robby,

Thanks again. I almost broke out the 858 yesterday, but I thought that it might need some rest from its long journey.
