Box coming. I want to keep 5, split the other 20 four ways. $100 for 5 including shipping. Some think this is one of the best cigars in current production in the world. I don't believe it, but I just have to make sure. my handle at yahoo dot

Is this a Trade? -- sure reads like a sale to me . I do a few of these a month but only by email and privately - not on this C-Bid sponsored forum..

Just another opinion on the topic. I know the gentleman posting this is a respected member of this forum and I do not question his motives at all.

Doc, I figured dividing up the cost 5 ways makes this a box split when I am one of the participants. But what do I know about box splits. I never started one and never participated in one before.

The price I am paying for the box is $475. I don't have the box yet, just the source. $475 divided by 5 people is $95 each. I added $5 for shipping. Since I am one of the 5 in the split, maybe it should have only been $4. I use FedEx which costs me about $7, so I am actually net negative anyway. If that's selling, it's not very smart selling. This same split is or was being offered on a non-commericial BBS' trades forum for $105 each. I think that guy paid $495 for the box, which is about right. I might have considered taking a share of that one, but I have dealt with my source before, and there is a lot of faith involved buying Cohibas. Most of them are counterfeit.

So, bottom line, Doc, I thought I might be doing four people on this board a favor. Five people, counting me. If I have just proved I don't know **** about a split, I withdraw the offer and beg everyone's forgiveness and will never try to pull one of these tricks again.

Andy says I wasn't sposed to mention money, so I guess Doc is right. Sorry Doc, Gonz, and in advance, Slimbo. I stand corrected. Even a monkey can fall from a tree. My heart was in the right place. Sort of. ;o)

X, you forgot to mention the fishy smell.

BTW everybody, I am ordering the box tomorrow. It is being shipped stamped and sealed, and therefore, banded. All aboard that's going aboard, otherwise I will just gift your share to Andy in return for all the nice friggin compliments.

NOT. lol
