Never had one, but I've never seen a more widely reviled Habanos release in recent memory either. Even at blowout pricing, its hard to imagine you not being better off with some aged Epicures, especially since the size is so close.

The Anejados is a program Habanos SA introduced a couple of years ago, whereby they release some aged and out-of production cigars from Partagas, HdM, Upmann, RyJ, and Montecristo. The boxes received an additional stamp on the bottom with most box codes being from 2007 or 2008.

I've tried the Montecristo and Partagas and both were good but I didn't like the RyJ so much. I've not heard too many positive reviews of the HdM either but to each his own.

In general I have not found any of the Anejados to be worth the premium prices.

This! The series is overpriced and underwhelming. Haven't smoked an HdM Anejados but cc aficionados I respect have nothing good to say. Your money is much better spent on regular production cigars.

Pass.
