Won some cigars several months ago and waiting weeks for them to show up with all that was going on here at cigarbid. Finally they arrived. Luckily, right before I left town for the week. I opened the box to see all my bounty. One of the items I had won was the Diesel Sideshow Sampler. Opened up the box and nothing but s**t. Damaged cigars and pieces of wrapper everywhere. I contacted Cigarbid and there was no response. After the chaos of orders no shipping for weeks and the absolute lack of customer service I believe I'm done with cigarbid, cigar.com, ci, and all affiliated companies. Hope everyone has better luck than I did.

If you call and talk to customer service (I know it's hard to get trough, but once you do) and you talk to them like people...and don't threaten to take your business away, they usually bend over backwards to help you. I know that's how it worked for me. Just can't be a douche, and have a little patience

Ok, that's a bummer. You know they're having issues, so a little slack might get you a long ways here.
Sounds like the rest of your order was OK?
Finally, I haven't met a Diesel yet that didn't need at least 6 months rest.............so, it's all good.
Contact them, tell them what happened, and I'll bet they send you another box.

How'd I do boys??

Before I left for Vegas later that day I emailed them with 3 pictures of the damage to the cigars and was very polite. I only asked for there to be some corrective action and a prompt response. After a week or so of no response I contacted them here on their site with a customer service request. No response. Now I see that the status of my request is "closed". I feel like I had given them more than enough slack with waiting several weeks for my cigars to ship and accepting that they would still use standard shipping which takes a week to get to me.

I had heard of people having issues with CI,cbid and all the sister companies but figured it was few and far in between. I didn't think it would happen to me. I know there is no way they could have known the condition of the cigars when they left their facility, the issue is not that I got a bum product, but that after two attempts to contact them there has been no response.

Just consider there are only 2 people working customer service. They are getting hit from all angles from tons of people. Emails and those requests seem to get lost in the shuffle. Try calling and waiting on hold (obvously when you have some time). It'll take about 30mins to an hour, but once you get one of the ladies in CS they will take care of you. I agree it is frustrating though that this mess is still going on.

Vegas?!
Well, lucky you!
There's some good places to grab a nice cigar there, and a cocktail, to soothe your pain.
Hang in there.
They will make it right.

I had a hell of a time finding a decent cigar. I wasn't prepared and it was my own fault. I kept finding short filler junk. Stumbled upon some Java's and thought things were looking up. Finally came upon some Davidoff's when I was in the cosmo. The issue was probably that it was 3 am. I found a bar that had cigars, but they were packed and I didn't feel like dealing with the hassle. The Davidoff was a little on the dry side and a little light for my taste, but I fit the bill.

.
I've seen multiple reports from multiple sources saying that the Diesel Sideshow Sampler often arrives dry and with cracked wrappers, and isn't worth bothering with. And, here's another report of that same thing. FYI, for what it's worth.

Same here Diesel Sideshow sampler is terrible. I got one that was very dry and sent it back and received another one but same thing. All reviews on them are the same.
