Given the current state of affairs, definitely the best deal out there now imho.
I'd buy two, if I didn't already have 4 resting......heh

Thanks TMCTLT, but I stocked up the last time...I was nervous about the consistency of the current batch then...no worries...they are just as good as before...

Ya, I remember I passed on the last one, then I saw my stock dwindling... was running a little low.

Thanks TMCTLT!!!

Reminded me I needed to re-up my MB3s.

The Churchills and Torps are a little much for me (I still smoke way too fast). If they where just the robs, I'd be all over them.

Dang the 'dors are all so full aftet stocking up on Aging Rooms I got on a a great deal on different site, but can't pass this up.

FWIW within 5 min of me placing my order, I got a call from them because I had mistyped the billing address and they needed to get it straightened out. Nice service. Never ordered on line from them before but if this order goes well will consider them again.

I was not on their email list, so BIG thanks on the tip!

Had a great afternoon at their Cigar Lounge in Philly last fall watching football. It is not large but very comfortable witha big screen TV and good wi-fi connection. Pretty standard B&M pricing in the shop but very friendly and no issues with bringing in your own.

Oh, next time this deal comes up, if anyone wants to do a split where you take all the robs, and I take the churchills and torpedos, I'll be all over it.

The torps and churchills are my goto golfing smoke lately. So keep me in mind when this deal pops back up (I'll buy them regardless but saw above some just like the robbies).

I went deep on these (3 or 4 bags) the last time they had this deal ... IMO, a no brainer. The V and Melanio killed the market for the MB3, but it's still a really good cigar. At 3 bucks per, hard to pass up.

Not in my book.......I prefer the MB3.
Also, maybe I've simply been unlucky, but the Vs I purchased in 2015, and 2016 have been.......mediocre?
Not nearly as good as the ones from 2012, and 2013 (I didn't buy any in 2014)
Maybe my palette changed.....who knows.......but the Vs are off my buy list for now.

The V's are just ok in my opinion... better than the O but only because it's stronger... $3 cigar imo... the Melanio however is phenomenal in my book... $5 easy... the mb3, easily a $4 cigar in my thinking....

Maybe I should've said that the V killed the RETAIL market for the MB3. Back in my retail days, an Oliva rep told me that most of his B&M customers preferred to carry the V because of the lower cost, and that the MB3 was largely dead in the B&M's he sold to.

Personally, I much prefer the MB3 (and the Melanio, at the right price).

FWIW, there may still be sampler boxes of 2013 V's floating around ... the sampler boxes are dated. I got some last year and I agree, the older ones are better than current production. I don't think it's because the cigars have more age, it's more pronounced than that.

since I'm not a full strength cigar lover anymore, my opinion is questionable, but it has seemed to me that over the last several years some V's and some MB3's are very full strength, and others are more to my liking.

Because of that I haven't bought either in a few years though have been gifted several of each with the same unpredictable pattern.

Perhaps the year made the difference. Wasn't paying attention cuz never bought boxes of either.

+1
Yeah, the ones I bought in 2012/2013 were really quite good......of course I smoked all up by late 2014.
Then as I started buying more to restock, I was quite disappointed, to say the least.
There was one fiver of the double Robs.....that I got at the other place..........that was terrible.......I mean.....tasting like an ashtray, all of them.
It was so bad, I was beginning to think someone did a band swap......... d'oh!
