I believe we are part of an intelligence investigation... First to find out if there are intelligent people here. Second, they are testing our loyalty and ability to promote the platinum membership. Third the powers are using such methods to find out who has been naughty and who has been nice. So have you been naughty?

I have had a change of heart. I think that this is all a nefarious plot. They have redefined the exalted platinum distinction we have always coveted. In order to destroy it! Just look at the last three posts!

Reminiscent of the early 1900's, how rare birds were killed to supply ladies with feathers in their hats........then prostitutes started wearing feathers in their hats too and thereby ended the popularity of this once exclusive trend............(However it did save the birds).

What are we saving by turning a platinum membership into a conduit for bulk supplies of candy smokes? Are we going to take this lying down? We must fight back! We want our exclusive privileges back!

I bought a bunch, but they are all for deployed troops on another forum, so you can say, I'm giving the gift of Platinum Membership for the New Year.

Excellent idea! A platinum bazooka. I'm sure there are those that will enjoy.

The PlatinumZooka.

Yeah, you'd be amazed just how many requests there are for cigars like these. Stuff like this and infused cigars are hugely popular.

Last day to buy your Platinum Membership.

You wouldn't want to be left out, would you?

Yep. I should get my Membership so I can have it on hand when I have non-cigar smoking guests at my house. Many will take a regular cigar when offered, take a few polite puffs and quietly put it down, but will smoke an entire Acid or other flavored cigar.

So UPS just delivered....

22 lbs worth of memberships.

50 boxes. I guess I wasn't paying attention to the part about 15 two-packs per box.

LOL.

Have you guys seen this:

http://www.cigarbid.com/...inum-robusto-10-cigars/

Okay it's been years since I've posted here but I got an email from Cbid talking about the Platinum membership in promoting this auction and it reminded me of the original brouhaha. That was a classic. The gym I was going to at the time painted up a window promoting their own platinum membership and I wanted to post the pic here, but knew not to bother.
