Special Olympics Cigar Giveaway...Year 5?

For the past five years (I think) cbidder's have provided an overwhelming amount of support for Special Olympics via this giveaway. On Saturday I'll be participating in a polar plunge for Special Olympics and all proceeds go directly to Special Olympics. Rules are simple, every $25 donation gets an entry into the drawing. If you donate $50 you get two entries, $100 gets four entries and so on.

I normally post a picture of the cigars I'm giving away but I decided it should be a surprise this year. I'm also getting a much later start than previous years so this ends at noon on Feb 18th. The donation link is below.

If you're new to this and wondering who I am...my name is Jim Colvin and I've been on cbid for almost 20 years but I only post once a year. :) I'm a patrol Lieutenant for the Brentwood Police Department in Tennessee and we work very closely with Special Olympics. If you have any additional questions please feel free to ask. Thank you guys for your support!!!

Hey Jim,

Donation made. My daughter was a member of the Nashville Dolphins Swim Team prior to us moving to Texas in 2012. I think I've actually been to an event/fundraiser at your Brentwood home prior to our moving. Good to see you still involved.

You're welcome. I can't remember what the event was, maybe just a party. You have a Ranch home/deep back yard?

My company will do a donation match, just gotta figure out the paperwork BS. That end wont make the Polar Plunge deadline but the company match will still get the charity.

Smokeyou, buckyb93, stinger88, coreysellers...didn't get a chance to thank you immediately but THANK YOU!!!!

We raised over $6000 as a team and almost $500 from you guys. We had a warm day so the water was in the 40's...not nearly as bad as previous years. I'm about to draw a winner...

We might have a winner. I had one donation that I assumed was from cbid but it only had a name and did not have a handle. I included him in the drawing just to be safe and he's the winner. Is there a Michael Duncan in the house???

I haven't heard from him...does anyone know his handle so I can send him a message? If not, I'll draw again and we'll get a winner.
