Definitely full bodied still. I'm sure some of the kick had waned but it was still a firecracker.

Had the La Palina Corona that dstieger just sent me. Not bad, but not really my cup of tea. Didn't help that the wind chill was about 25 degrees (pretty sure I have frost bite on my right hand). Glad it was a small one. ha

Nice easy draw with pleasant maduro flavors in the wrapper!

That's what I usually stick to or the 1992's. Great smokes. I carry them in my truck and when I break one out someone always asks "what's that your smoking". I know why their asking(you got an extra one). I just take the band off and say "here ya go".

A 2014 LIBERTY, thanks to Philly Jack.
It was part of a Christmas RAOK he sent me last year.
Nubbed that bugger while watching the GB / NYG game.
What a great cigar, Jackie Boy.
Thanks again.

....thanks to this Forum!

While I had had plenty of Olivas of different types and styles, I doubt I would ever have gotten around to the Master Blend III if not for all the positive comments on this site.

Fired one up this evening, wonderful smoke as always.

2's look similar to 1's. Same laser engraving - band was like one, but with the addition of a big "2" --- very good cigars, as well

uh oh....i find that just a tad distressing....our tastes may be pretty far apart and you may not like much of what I sent. I find that Kill Bill to be, quite possibly, the best cigar avail from here for under $3.....even despite the small stature

Stinger, an older LG Small Batch because it does not say if it is a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. Not sure which it is though but I know it is one of the older ones that did that. As always LG Small Batch are excellent, thank you Stinger!

The LGD SB 1-3 didn't have designated numbers on their bands, and were all great cigars. It's too late now, but the way I was told to differentiate them was to measure their length. They were slightly different in length.

Wish I had known that but you are right too late. Great cigar no matter what batch it came from 1, 2, or 3! Thanks Delta though if I come across that again I will know how to determine them now.

Shaun, pretty sure it was a 1 or 2. I think all of the LG SB cigars have been excellent. If I run across them in a local, I try to pick up one or two. Glad you liked it.

...Cacman. Carl gifted a couple of Fuente Anejo No. 46s back in Feb. 2014 and decided to ash up the last of the two to celebrate the loss by Pete Carroll and his band of Chickenchitters (...I can't stand the man or his team...). Mahalo Cac, great cigar, definitely in my Top 5 Favorites..

...Mikey1597. A day late in celebrating the Green Bay win over Dallas but sparked up a Fuente Hemingway Rosado Classic that Mikey sent in June of 2015. He knew I was trying to locate some and RAOK'd the carp outta me. A fantastic smoke to commemorate a football game for the ages. Thanks again Mikey!

(Mikey - iffin' you're a Cowboys fan, didn't mean to rub it in...only occurred to me after I lit it up...)

among the many I have greatly enjoyed from recent bombings, two were amazing and surprising to me because I assumed they would be too strong for me at this point...

BGZ-Padron 1964
Coolbreeze-Illusione Epernay bench pressed

each long and slim, never had either, perfectly long for tropical evenings on Turks with a few drinks, and neither exceeded my current strength tolerance.
Thank you both.

speaking of you Corey, loved a couple NH's you sent:
the Caldwell Bind Man's Bluff (before vacation), mild and flavorful, great draw.
the Tattoo, also before vacation, not the pepper bomb I feared, very nice smoke that I never would have tried.

smoked my first Flor de Las Antilles bombed by NapalmRon, yet another NH smoke that surprised me by being in my enjoyment range. Real nice robusto.

Glad I checked my notes.

And believe it or not, over the years, there were quite a few other "bombs" that even surpassed it.
